I have a very busy life but I'm happy. The pups are growing healthy and strong. My belly looks big enough for 3 pups but the doctor insist I have only 2 pups, one boy and one girl. The Moon Goddess said they were both Ken's so he is going to name them. I feel it's only right. I hope that Brett gets his daughter soon. I think I only want one more time. I've already given birth to more pups than normal.
Speaking of busy I am in charge of all events for our pack and this week we are hosting the Regional Alpha championship. Ken is so excited about it and has done everything in his power to make sure it's perfect. Brett has been here at the pack almost as much as I have. He has gotten as close to Ken as a brother. They are together as much as I am with either of them. Yet I see Brett struggling with everything from time to time.
The path between our home and the pack house is worn like a road. We have talked about expanding the pack house to a hotel. Our home into the Alpha house. Building an office, hospital and pack house on the path to the hotel, a larger arena would replace the current one. We could make a theater out of the arena we currently have.
The Coven has been invited to join our compound. They would have homes built all in the same area. The elders of the pack and the coven are set to vote on the new compound we have introduced. We have even thought about camouflage for the grounds. We have to wait for the vote so all we can do for now is plan the Regional tournament.
I will be the host because Ken will be fighting. I have set up everything from meals for the fighters, lodging, and medical teams. The only fight to the death is the National championship finale.
The Regional tournament was a fight to the last 3 fighters. They would proceed to the Nationals. The final 3 from the 3 Regional tournaments would face off until the final Alpha. The death blow was rarely used but if the Alpha who was beaten refuses to conced then death is required.
I want to fight so bad but because of my pregnancy I can't. I could win a spot in Nationals if I was allowed to fight. Hell I could win Nationals too. I wouldn't fight my mate but I could win easy. Not trying to cause problems so I keep it all to my self. I haven't been able to train in so long, all I do is birth Alpha's, and one Beta. I love his gentle spirit and see his fierceness under the kind eyes covering his hidden secrets.
The pups in my belly move constantly, like they are fighting for first place. Who will be alpha? The boy or the girl? No one from the coven has brought me any news. Sometimes they carry news of the Alpha.
The coven still hasn't voted on living here on a joint compound as of yet so they have been distant with me. Werewolves and Covens don't normally share power. Yet because of Brett they could. He helps Kara lead the Coven and I am Luna of the pack, yet together we are mates. Making us a power couple.
My body gets still, it isn't often that happens. I feel like something is going on. I walk over to the window to see if anyone is near our home. I see a shadow just out of view like something lurking that you can't see clearly. I tense up and hold my belly protectively. I feel him before I see him. I smell him and know instantly this foe is not good for the safety of my pups.
I try to mind link my mates but he has me blocked. I know that I can kill him before he can hurt me I just feel intrigued by his bold behavior. "Why are you here? Don't you feel any issues with your safety? What do you want?", I cautiously speak to him.
"I am here for your mate. He has challenged me without knowing exactly what I am. I think you will be the best to inform him of what he faces. You may be the only one able to give him my message. Especially now that I've laid eyes on your beauty, you are not just any witch are you? No, no, no, I feel something stronger than I have ever felt before. You my dear are fearless aren't you?, he caresses my face.
I grab his hand and twist his arm behind him, my snakefangs come out and bite him. The venom I delivered will kill him in less than 5 minutes. I have delivered a death blow in only 4 seconds.
"I don't know what you mean coming to my home, threatening me and my family. I have delivered the Mamba venom to your body. Your magic won't save you, only the vampire in you might have a chance if you get a transfusion in time. If you live, don't return before my eyes again.", I delivered my warning then he disappeared using his magic.
"Brett, Ken, get home immediately! I had to fight off a vampire/warlock hybrid. He came after Brett.", I mind link my mates. Brett materializes right away using magic. Ken shifts and makes it in minutes. Brett is still holding me in his embrace when Ken arrives. I feel his body tense up and his breathing changes.
Ken stands in the doorway, "Anastasia are you ok love?" He doesn't move toward me giving way to Brett. I can only shake my head yes. "I will patrol the perimeter and see if anyone saw anything. I can check the pups as well before I return. No worries Brett I will find this stinking vampire. He won't come here again.", Ken shows confidence.
Brett remains tense as he looks down at me. I hold him closely and look up into his eyes. "I'm not worried about him. I could have killed him but I felt like it would have caused more problems with his coven. I knew it was best to tell you and let you deal with him in your way first.", I say.
"Ana honey you are extremely important to me and I would do anything for you. I never thought that he would come here, plus I was clueless to his vampire side. Please know I will never hurt you or put you in danger knowingly. ", I can hear his heart pounding.
Brett looks out of the window at Ken, I feel his breathing change, his heart race and his eyes get a look of pain. I know that Brett is struggling to make friends with Ken. They are equally important to me but to each other they are still rivals.
"Moon Goddess please help my mates trust each other and keep them safe as they join forces to fight the vampire coven. ", I secretly pray. Ken runs upstairs to get dressed, he checks up on the pups, nannies and my brothers. Seeing all is well he sets patrols around the estate before coming to my side.
I reach out to him. He takes my hand bringing it to his lips. Brett drops his arms to his side and walks over to the window. He looks out like he is watching a scene unfold in front on the lawn. I shake my head while looking at his back. I drop my gaze to Ken's arm. He has a cut on his arm that is still healing. He looks in my eyes before mind linking me, "It's okay my love, I cut it on a branch."
Ken and Brett know that I don't take anything from anyone so it's no surprise when I ask, "Well are you going before the elders of the coven? I want to get information about this. Don't just stand there moping." Brett stomps out of the house leaving Ken to comfort me. Little does he know I don't act like a little wifey who needs protection.
I call my Dad to send Royal troops and my GrandPa to send snakes. Then I call my brother to come for a few days. I am determined to not let any other issues effect my pups. The boys started the mind link right away because they have a strong warlock within. The girls have a stronger snake. These in my belly are both strong wolves. Although I can't explain how still they got before I could determine the danger. They almost feel like they have magic. Yet I know it can't be. The belong to Ken so they can only be wolf snake hybrids.
After the vampire attack the work on the Regional Alpha Championship slowed down. On the full moon the tournament will begin, 3 days of food, drinking and sex. Yes sex. The Alpha's would mate after every fight they won. Shewolves who were looking for a mate would show up, shewolves in heat would show up, and Alpha's who had mates brought them. Alpha's who had expecting mates, would stay in our home for protection. Temptation is great after a fight and because their Alpha Luna was expecting as well it would calm them.
On the day the tournament began I made the announcement. I introduced the first 3 fights. I retired to my suite after getting it started. The Beta's mate would announce the other 2 sets of fights. I would close the fight with a speech.
On day 3 we were down to 6 Alpha's. Ken was part of it. The fights had gotten ugly over the 3 days. Wolves accused other wolves of cheating. We had cameras at every angle but couldn't catch the wolf in question. I asked Brett to watch for a cheat as well. Even with all of these measures Ferguson still got away with it.
As I closed the Regional Alpha Championship with the winners Ken in first place, Ferguson in second place and George in third place I still felt uneasy. I knew that more was to come in the days ahead. I still went on to invite everyone to return at the next full moon for the National Alpha Championship.
I start the next day to plan the Nationals. This will be the strongest Alpha in Australia. I will repeat the plans for the Regionals. I'll add stations for ice sculptures, crafts, and other family things to do or watch. Hay ride, ice cream, funnel cakes, games. Everyone who comes brings their pack. It will be hundreds of wolves. 3 Regional areas and 3 winners each. Day one will have 3 fights the first hour, and 3 fights the 3rd hour. Day two will have 2 fights. The winner will go to the World Alpha Championship. They will face my Father or his champion.
As a Royal he has held the title for years. I have always wanted to compete but I was never called on to be his champion. I wasn't old enough for the tournament until after I was mated. I was never going to fight at this rate. I always have pups in my belly. As soon as Brett gets a daughter I'm done. No more pups for me.
I plan everything down to the toilets needed. We set up medical teams, shops from the pack, everything needed to make money from the fights. I get a chainsaw sculpture of a wolf totem pole. This time the hotel and the pack house both host families. We set up tents and get things ready for 10,000 wolves.
Brett comes over to kiss my cheek. He hasn't been able to be with me in 4 weeks. I've been so busy with our pups, safety measures and Luna duties. I turn to him and ask, "Could you make a spell to catch the cheating wolf? I know you have struggled with Ken and the relationship we have together. I just want this to be a fair fight. I am not looking for a easy fight or you to help. Just something to expose the cheat."
