When I wake up Ken is sleeping in a chair by my side and Brett is pacing by the window. "Brett is everything ok?", he looks concerned. "Yes love all is well. I just need to be here and with the boys and the coven has called for a meeting.", he is tired I can tell.
"Ken is here with the girls and I, Kara is with the coven, and the twins are with the boys. Why don't you go home and get some rest? Pick us up tomorrow and everything will be fine love.", I hate how he stresses.
Ken wakes up with our talking. He suggests that he send a few warriors over to the boys, a few here with us and Brett can go to his meeting first. Then he can rest for the night. I thank him and so does Brett. Brett kisses me goodnight before leaving.
I call for my girls and the nurses bring them to me. I feed Sophia first and I talk to her about her father Rhett. I tell her about her daddy Brett, too. Then I introduce her to Ken. I tell her how special she is as Alpha and Witch. I explain everything about her wolf and snake.
Then I feed Irina and go through the same information. Ken walks over to her and places a hand on her. He thinks that she is making strength slower than Sophia. I want to know why. He thinks it's because of their rare Double Alpha status. He says that if we compete the mate bond it will give her strength.
I agree and he marks me. Then I mark him. My mark from Rhett glows before it becomes like a blue tattoo Brett's is still black. It looks beautiful with both colors. I have fully recovered but I don't want to complete the mating process yet. We both agree to do that after the Luna Ceremony.
Brett returns to pick us up at lunch. Irina is getting so much stronger. Brett picks her up and she opens her eyes to look up at him. She grabs his pinky tight. He falls in love with our little shewolf. Sophia looks like her daddy but Irina looks more exotic. Her bright green eyes and dark olive skin tone fits well with her dark curly hair.
I talk to the girls constantly about everything. When I change them or dress them. When I feed them or take them outside. The boys run and play as we walk through the woods. The pack has become like our second home. I take the girls over to see Ken often. He holds Irina as we talk.
Ken tells me about his visit from the Moon Goddess. How she told him that he was my second chance mate. At first he was totally against it but after meeting me he instantly knew it was right. He had never met anyone like me. He tells me about his parents death to vampires. He talks about his painting business. He doesn't get to paint as often as he would like. It's therapeutic for him.
Ken tells me about the pack and how each one has a role. He needs a strong Luna and he knows that I am. He didn't know that I was a royal or that I had a snake until much later. After he meets all of me and he talks everything over with Brett we set a date for the Luna Ceremony. When the girls are 6 months old, on the full moon.
Ken visits us often and will kiss me before he leaves. The twins are used to seeing how we interact. Brett has even started talking to Ken more. They have become closer. I make dinner for all of us so we can discuss the Luna Ceremony. Brett needs to know what will happen naturally and Ken needs to talk about the way our life will be afterwards.
I love Brett so much and I don't want him stressed. I want any questions answered before the ceremony. Brett doesn't ask anything. I wait until we are alone in bed to ask him if he has anything else he wants to know. He pulls me close and whispers in my ear, "Baby do you have to mate with him?"
It absolutely breaks my heart into many little pieces. "No honey if you don't want me to then my answer is no. We will go through the Luna Ceremony only. Brett falls asleep snuggled in my neck. His breathing comforts me. When we wake he looks at me and asks me, "Anastasia don't lie to me, How much pain are you in?" I get out of bed and walk over to the window. I have no choice but to show him my chest where the mate mark is. I slowly walk toward him. I pull my hair back and he gasp. He can see the purple veins under my skin, the dark colored bruises across my chest and the red inflammation on the mate bite.
I flinch when he kisses my neck. He apologizes over and over for not knowing how much pain I have been in. "Brett how could you have known? Only Ken knew because he is feeling it as well. Honey, I didn't want to be with him like that because you aren't ready. The mate pull is the only reason I want to at all. It's all consuming, so I have too fight off the urges."
Brett embraces me and says, "Now that I know that you have been doing this for our family it makes me feel 100% better. I was thinking that this mating would change us. I see how wrong I was love." He kisses me and I pick up my legs to wrap around his waist. He puts me on the bed and we make love for the first time since the girls were born.
After we make love Brett gives his blessing to the mating process after the Luna Ceremony. I mind link Ken, "Brett is ready, he agrees to mating after the Luna Ceremony. I think it should be there not here. What do you think?"
Ken responds really quickly, "Babe you have no idea how happy that made me. I agree, I will set up everything, you just get a dress. Maybe black with purple? Just let me know the color you pick."
"I want to invite the boys, my brothers and Brett to the ceremony. I just need to make sure that it will not include any change to wolf or mounting. I really don't want the boys to see that.", I tell him. "I will make sure that the pack knows that we are keeping it rated G because of our children. ", Ken calls them ours and it makes me feel whole again. I never thought I would feel whole again because Rhett has my heart in the afterlife and Brett has it in this life. Ken has shown me how love expands into every piece of your being.
The twins are growing leaps and bounds. The boys are going to be 2 and the girls will be 6 months in just a few days. We celebrate our pups with a huge party. The girls are crawling everywhere and need to be watched every minute so they don't eat anything harmful. The boys are running around bumping into everything. They have a knot on their head to show how they can get hurt and not cry.
I play games with them and we have a lot of fun. We eat and then all the pups are ready for a nap. I go try on my gown, its a full ball gown, with a purple and black skirt, the bodice is black velvet off the shoulder. The purple stitching stands out against the black. I don't wear a bra but I wear a black lace thong.
Brett comes into the bedroom and looks at me like a hungry bear. I take off my dress and panties. Then I walk into the shower, looking over my shoulder as an invitation for him to join me. He comes in the bathroom fully dressed, "Ana, I don't think it's a good idea for me too distract you from your Luna duties."
I pull him in, he doesn't protest as I kiss him. "I need you because I am feeling scared. I've never been a Luna. What if I can't do it? What if I overpower him? My snake alone could rip out his throat. I'm scared I can't do the job of Luna. I'm a mother first a mate second and now a Luna."
Brett just holds me and it starts to calm me down. He brushes his hand gently over my cheek before kissing me. "Ana you will be fine. Deep breaths and let me wash you.", he starts washing my hair. I totally let him take control of the shower. When I'm clean he smacks my ass and tells me to go get ready. He removes his clothes and showers while I get my hair done. Then the make up artist starts before I can protest.
Just before I leave they zip me into my dress. I have on the black lace thong too. I wear my diamond bracelet, earrings and necklace. I wear my ring from Rhett and my ring from Brett. I feel amazing, look amazing and because Brett washed me throughly I smell delicious. Good enough to eat is exactly what he says.
When the long white limousine stops in front of the pack arena where the ceremony will take place all eyes are on it waiting for a glimpse of the new Luna. I have Brett get out first followed by my brothers, then our pups. The nannies help with both sets of twins. The girls are taken to the pack dining room to await the next step as the ceremony will only be 30 minutes.
I step out of the limo to audible gasps. I almost look around to find what all the fuss is about. Do I look that good or that bad? I hope it's good. I have to will myself not to fall. I make my way down the walkway to the Beta who bows, "My Lady." He puts his arm out for me to take. "Thank you Beta.", I reply.
He leads me down to the stage but not up on stage. I know the process so I wait. After a minute Ken walks on stage, it's dusk and the twinkle of the fairy lights in the trees are beautiful. He announces that all the unmated shewolves should come to the front. This is part of the process.
He walks down the row, looking at each shewolf. He stops at me but doesn't even meet my eyes. He looks very strongly at every unmated shewolf. Then he stops in from of me and shows me his fangs. They are typical wolf fangs. I smile showing my wolfsnake fangs. He gasp because I've never shown them to him before. Every unmated shewolf trembles at the sight.
This will make the ceremony smooth because no one will contest me now. They haven't ever seen a wolfsnake before. Plus my bloodline is Royal. Ken takes my hand leading me to the stage where he announces his choice for Luna. The Elders stand one by one to give their approval or denial. I pass 100% and Ken moves my hair to one side. I submit showing him my neck exposed and vulnerable.
Ken kisses my neck, before he whispers I love you in my ear. The pain of his bite is very little but very much releases a sexual urge in my sex. He licks the blood from the wound as he is watching for the Moon Goddesses approval. Seeing none he motions for me to continue the ritual. I bite his exposed neck as he submits to me. I too lick his wound.
We see no approval but we continue as if we do. The ceremony is to be stopped if she doesn't give her approval. He announces it is done. Suddenly sparks fly around us our marks turn golden and the Moon Goddess appears.
"Children I love you and have chosen this love for you. Fate took Rhett too soon but I believe that this was fate as well. You belong to each other. Lady Anastasia you will conceive this night another set of twins. Having back to back pups is unheard of, yet I give you this gift. The Roo pack from this day forward will be called the Artemis pack. This pack will have deep roots and reach all of Australia.", The Goddess evaporates into thin air after her speech.
Ken grabs me, turns me away from him, pushes his manwood against my lower back, pulls my hair hard enough to pull my head back to meet his kiss and shows the pack his ownership of his shewolf.
