We started walking out of the house when I realised how tall he is, most people in Japan are pretty short so seeing someone with his height was surprising. "How do I know you're not just gonna take me to the direction of my school and drop me off or kill me for that matter?" Horrible things started coming to my head, "I don't know, you'll just have to trust me I guess." I could tell he wasn't lying and wanted to accompany me to Tokyo and I was truly grateful. We walked for about 2 hours until we decided to stop again and drink a bit and eat, "Going for the 'Kawaii but Bad Girl Aesthetic' I see,"
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"You have a side ponytail, but you have a black mask and a black hoodie on,"
"Huh!? No, not at all I just need to keep myself warm and safe, I also always have my hair in a side ponytail, hmph!" He wasn't wrong though, that was the style I was going for but I didn't want to admit it.
"Okay, Tora"
"Hey! Since when did you give me that nickname?"
"Just now, do you want me to have one as well?"
"Yea, I'm gonna call you Kinpatsu no shōnen!"
We both started laughing, I could tell we were gonna get along great. I did like my nickname, I have to admit. It was fierce and I also really like Tora's, they're pretty cool. He also suits his nickname as well because he is a Kinpatsu no shōnen, a stupid Kinpatsu no shōnen. It didn't take too long for us to get out of town and hit the outskirts of Kyoto, especially since we already lived close to the edge. To get to Tokyo from Kyoto we'd have to pass through or by Nagoya and Gifu, Kofu, Saitama and then end up at Tokyo. It'll be a long journey but if possible we may be able to hitchhike, grab rides every now and then and taking the train could even be a possibility.
