"So I have a map and we're right here aka nearly out of Kyoto already If you'd like we could get you a train card so we can just take that to a stop," I guess he already had the same idea as me. I grabbed into my pocket and pulled out my train card and waved it in his face "already ahead of ya Kinpatsu no shōnen.", thankfully it wasn't expired. I dragged Callum to the Train station, it was really busy since people were still heading to work. We booked a train to Nagoya, that was as far as we could go with the type of tickets we have. We waited till 8:30, since that's when our train would leave. We walked to the train and handed our cards to the man that takes them. The train had many people but wasn't as cramped as I was expecting, other times I had taken the train to go somewhere it was jam-packed. We managed to get a seat and sat down, we talked for a while but not loud enough to disturb others.
We talked about ourselves and our origins. Callum is 22 and has been learning Japanese for 3 years and is now fluent in it. He lived in California for his entire life but always wanted to live in Japan. He learnt Japanese so he could communicate with locals easier and wouldn't have to use a translator 24/7. He talked about how when he moved to Japan he already had a job ready here but it fell through and he couldn't get any other jobs, so he became a street musician. He plays the guitar and that is how he pays his rent and buys the essentials for himself. His parents were very supportive of him moving to Japan but once everything fell through his parents cut contact with him. He doesn't have a phone because the one he had got stolen and he found it smashed to pieces on his doorstep and he has never been able to afford another one. I felt really bad for him because he had a dream and everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I told him about myself and how my parents fight all the time and that's why I left, I told him about how I lived in Japan my entire life and so on and so on.
I'm not that special, I have dark brown hair in a side ponytail, I have slight freckles and I like anime. My parents fight all the time, there's nothing special about it since I know a lot of kids have the same life and style as me. After we talked we ended up sitting in silence just listening to the train ride along the tracks, I drifted off to sleep. I was really tired due to not sleeping the other night and had the best sleep of my life but it was soon going to be disturbed. I woke up to Callum grabbing me from the seat and pulling me to the ground and covering my mouth, I looked up slightly and saw everyone else on the ground. There was blood everywhere some people had been shot.
