In an alleyway in Lycon, a white Dragonborn lays in an alleyway, unconscious. As a person is walking but with their kid, the kid glances in and sees a person lying there and taps his mom's hand.
"Is that person okay mom?" The cute little kid's voice is as sweet as candy, but his mom hears this question and pauses. She looks over to see a person laying in the snow filled alleyway, her face having shock carved on it.
She runs into the alleyway and sees it's a Dragonborn, a white full Dragonborn. She immediately puts her hand above the Dragonborn's snout, feeling for her breath. She can barely feel it, but feels it none the less. She immediately looks over to her son, his eyes and his tusk filled mouth showcasing his worried look, "Go yell for help, okay sweetie?"
The son nods and gets up, running into the street, and begins yelling in his sweet voice for help. He catches the eye of many people, and a Tabaxi dressed in what looks like an assassin's outfit walks towards him, "What is the problem kid?" The kid looks up at him, his face expressing worry a large amount of worry. The tabaxi looks tan with brown spot but has an aura of beauty to his movements and looks.
"Sir, can you help me and my mom? There is a person who needs help."
The tabaxi stands there for a minute, seemingly contemplating, "Alright, well then where is this person?"
The kid grabs the tabaxi's hand and pulls him towards the alleyway. The tabaxi stealthily reaches behind his waist, gripping onto something as he cautiously approaches the alleyway, but removes his hand from whatever he was holding when he sees the lady trying to keep the Dragonborn warm to the best of her abilities. He immediately rushes over and reaches into a pouch he has on his side a white potion that has flickers of blue in it and immediately pours it on the Dragonborn's body.
The Orc mother looks up at the tabaxi in shock but before she can even react, he picks her up, carrying her like a princess. The Orc mother finally bursts from shock and stands up, picking up her, what seems to be, 6 year old son. She catches up to him but he stops, seemingly realizing something. 'Where the hell is a clinic?'
The Orc mother finally catches up to him and gives him a death stare, "Why did you pour a bunch of liquid on her? Now she is gonna free-" He stares at her with a blank expression before interrupting, "It's a cold resistance potion, now where's a clinic?" She stops, realizing she miss judged his actions. She walks with him down the bustling streets till they reach a nice wooden clinic, they enter and there sits a nurse dealing with papers.
She looks up and her eyes sparkle as they land on the tabaxi, seemingly entranced. "He-hello there sir, what can I help you with?" He immediately lifts the cloaked Dragonborn up, "She was freezing outside and we brought her here not knowing how long she has been unconscious for." The nurse snaps out of her trance and immediately guides them to the back room where they see an elf doing check ups with all his patients.
The tabaxi sees this and looks around for an empty bed, finding a nice one and laying her down in it. He then walks over to speak to the elf but before he can say anything, the elf speaks first, "If your a patient or came to get checked for anything, please wait while I treat these last few patients." The tabaxi is shocked slightly before regaining his charming demeanor and begins speaking, "No no no, you are mistaken, I brought a girl who I think might be in worse shape than she looks."
The elf continues his check until he is finished then gets up and finally looks at the tabaxi. "Alright, let's see her." He walks with the tabaxi till they reach the Dragonborn's side. The elf has a slight face of shock, 'What's a Dragonborn doing here during this time?' He sits down and starts to mutter a few words before a wisp appears and enters her chest, making her body glow. All of a sudden, her body glows with a black color.
The elf quietly murmurs, "What in the bloody hell?"
Vitruvius isn't one to help out of the goodness of his heart, he will always expect to be paid for his services, he even classified himself as a rogue. He always has aimed to get money and he succeed greatly, but he is always looking for more. And this time is no different, but as he stares at the glowing Dragonborn's face right now, he is admiring her beauty.
'This can't be right....' thinks Sylvic as he stares at her body currently glowing black. 'With this amount of foreign magic, she should be dead, but she is somehow alive. But in a coma like state....'
All of a sudden, the Dragonborn opens her eyes very slowly but immediately closes them at the sight of a pointy eared species, frightened by it. She opens her eyes slightly this time, not enough for anyone to notice as Sylvic is currently focused on trying to figure out his magic issue. But as she looks around, she sees a tan furred cat standing there, messing with a gold coin between his fingers, his glorious hair entrancing her but as she looks at his face, she sees something, he is staring at her directly in the eyes. She had two sentences to describe what she felt currently. 'I believe I have found my soulmate.' And 'F#*k, I'm screwed.'
The white Dragonborn has always been a believer of love at first sight, and she hadn't felt like this towards any being till now. She would always read stories of a guy and girl meeting and them falling in love the first time they met. She thought it was sweet and always hoped it would happen to her someday. She was made fun of for it as a little kid by others so she started to drift off and become silent, focusing on increasing her strength instead. But she always held onto her belief, she always hoped to find the person she sought after to appear one day, but that day never came, till now.
Her heart was thumping, her head felt slightly dizzy, and she felt nervous even looking at him. This wasn't a feeling of combat or adrenaline, she was sure of it, because those are her two best friends.
She was gonna get out of bed to defend herself from whatever might happen when all of a sudden, a voice entered her ear, calm and soft. "Don't worry, I'm not going to tell anyone, just keep acting unconscious." She was shocked, never did she expect to hear his voice this close, more or less, with him at least 3 ft away. She decided to comply and closed her eyes again, trying to stay calm. 'I'm in a foreign place and can only trust the cat's words for now, later though, I need to figure out what is this place, these species, their abilities, and immediately find Kurayami.' She thinks that's his name, as he wrote it down on the combat sign up sheet.
Sylvic can only look into this more later but as he gets up, he sees a rune circle on the Dragonborn's hand, he looks closer at it and sees runes he had never seen before, all of them in some different language. 'I will definitely investigate this.' He thinks as he gets up, the Orc mother mad her son are also gone, knowing they should get back to what they were doing. Sylvic then leaves to go to the back room, leaving them both alone.
Vitruvius walks over and sits right beside the Dragonborn. She starts to get even more nervous feeling he is now right beside her.
"I'm Vitruvius, what's your name?"
She contemplated for a minute before deciding, "Erika, it's Erika."
"So why were you unconscious?" She keeps her eyes closed and speaks quietly, only loud enough for him to hear, but her voice is definitely higher pitched than normal.
"I....got into a fight with someone and my opponent used a sleeping gas or something similar."
He nods his head before asking one more question, seemingly believing her answer. "But what is your reason for being here? This town is so far away from the Scaled Kingdom and with your demeanor, your definitely an assassin like me." She thinks for a minute before speaking once more, her voice still higher pitched than usual.
"I'm on a mission to find someone."
"Who?" Asks Vitruvius, his curiosity getting the better than him.
"I am not allowed saying." She responds, hoping he will leave the topic, buuuuuut Vitruvius doesn't give up easily.
"Awwww, why not?"
She sighs inwardly, before saying, "It's classified."
"By who?"
She sighs inwardly once more, 'Why did I have to fall for this guy.'
