Anadoria held more wonders in Adilita's mind now that she embraced her identity with Eliza's actions to teach her how to be what she was at a hundred percent. She thoroughly looked the part of someone who was a daughter of a noblewoman or at least the product of one.
Eliza thanked her handmaidens and asked one of them to bring an item from the king's room. It was a wooden box that made Eliza glinted with regal mischief as she brought Adilita's attention from admiring herself in the mirror to the box. The Queen waited quietly as Adilita's eyes shifted from excited to a chilling discernment of Eliza's facial expressions. The silence remained in between the two since the handmaidens made themselves more scarce than a hair of a unicorn at a dragon princess' party. The box held the crest of a Crow made from silver engraving and a blood red ruby in it's mouth. It looked familiar to Adilita as felt herself steadily watch the Queen open the box. Inside of the box was loot for the century! No, inside was a delicate design for a crown to which Adilita now suspected Eliza to have planned this from the beginning. The nievity was wearing itself thin in Adilita's mind after the short time with Eliza causing her thinking to show the edges of maturity. Instead, Adilita approached the box like prey and merely reached out touch the crown. Eliza didn't baby Adilita with words of explaining her reasoning. It would be a lesson for the girl as Adilita felt the same kinship resonating to the crown that she did for the throne.
Adilita quoted something that was buried in her poetic memory banks, "To be or not to be. That is the question? Who am I, if not to ponder my wealth? That my very stature stands against heaven's cries; should not my veins be bluer than the essence of sapphire? I, who is king of all beasts and devourer of men, Am I not justified in my creation? Let her see my love and possess all my countenance and treasure of silver and gold. If fate were fair, then she too would have my very crown but alas, in woe I must deny it. All who reign mortal upon this earth shall not have it, not even she will have this jewel of my very eye. To be the king or not to be? That is the question."
Eliza remained unphased as Adilita eloquently versed her words with harmonic sound of her voice. The lure of the crown explaining the poem that Adilita yet had to do more than fondle. Now, why would anyone, much less a queen of a city-state and a temporary queen of another's kingdom give away the crown jewel of that very kingdom? Suffice it to say, Adilita's maturity couldn't answer it even if complex thought managed to creep it's way to teach her why. It just felt right, all of it felt intoxicating and that included the amount of new emotions filling her senses until they bled out on her facial expressions. Even the ten minute hesitation to do more than just touch the object seemed to be build yension in the air. Eliza was a queen after all and the lesson hidden is that even though she had reasons for presenting this gift that there was no reasons needed because that was simply the depth of what she was allowed to do. Who would question Adilita then? Who would deny Adilita's right to be whatever she wanted if they saw this? Worse and more terrifying question was who would stop her from this?
Adilita froze too long causing Eliza to reach into the box and personally crown Adilita's herself. It was as if the authority Eliza possessed now was also in Adilita's possession. The two said nothing since Adilita both felt it was her right to have it and that she knew too little to speak in this situation.
The closing of the crow crest box signaled the end of the ceremony. Adilita should have been stunned but instead she was enthralled. Eliza put away the box and finished her business with the room. The pair moved wih silence while Eliza kept a careful watch on Adilita's strangely confident demeanor. The sombre mood brought a little sobriety as they left the halls towards the courtyard. Large pillars of mountain carved stone created archway that scattered beams of line on onyx slabs of stone. Large pointy cathedral-like crescents flowered part of the inner walls of the palace. This showed a different path that the pair took the journey through. Instead of stone statues of majestic warriors, now there were ancient creatures that held an appearance of sentience just by the posture alone. Some were fierce and others were majestic to see. Adilita's sobriety lasted throughout the myriad of passages to which they travelled through.
The place they stopped made it obvious as to why beastial creatures existed as they arrived at a particular garden. A great serpentine shape wrapped itself in many stone coils at the center of the garden. It was a primal creature from what Adilita saw in the eyes of the statue. It made Adilita smile at Eliza who in return seemed to carry a secret. Mystified by this place yet discerning the meaning of thier presence here, Adilita's smile grew wider. This creature looked like a serpent yet it wasn't. It appeared like a dragon but it wasn't a dragon as well so it seemed to be a unique category.
Adilita opened the journal and compared the statue to the drawings inside. Eliza observed that the android drew a conclusion quickly from the notebook. A small thoughtful expression showed on the Queen's lip. There wasnt any need to ask questions since Adilta naturally began to descover how well she deduced information. Unfortunately, Adilita's ability to learn played a part in this as the gem hidden within her pockets began to resonate mysteriously. Adilta could open watch in awe as the statue's eyes blazed rich saphire blue. The sound of rumbling mechanisms presented itself to the pair. Adilita looked at Eliza suspiciously because she wanted to know the Queen guessed. Adilita could feel a new emotion surface as the statue began opening it's jaws wide open. The head lowered to the ground and the maw of the beast became the entrance to the next mystery. Adilita expected Eliza to join but the Queen picked up the hem of her opulent dress and gently began moving away. The look of the woman's eyes told Adilita much in the way of reasoning. Seeing that Eliza truly was busy with her duties and leaving on a wild goose chase was beyond her responsibility. Gently, as the andriod's emotions matured more causing her to be able to accept it. Adilita sighed gently, causing Eliza to pause and slightly turn her head to reveal a pretty smile. Adilita winked and disappeared down the still form stairwell that spiralled downward into the depths. The entrance sealed a few minutes later but instead of being alarmed, Adilita looked for a solution. Adilita knew she had to continue but not seeing caused an inconvenience to her progress. Shut out from her friend's company and advice meant much to to the android but she had learned from the short experience to be patient. Perusing through her components quickly to find a solution since even in the dark her normal eyes could adjust. Adilita's eyesight was very sharp. They were not perfect in every situation so when she stumbled across something that caused her eye to see again, it startled her. Taking no more than a nanosecond to discover that she had activated infrared sight, she nearly blessed her creator for such marvelous detailing. Adilita's new clothes echoed rustling sounds as she moved along. The adoption to her body became more obvious as her pace appeared nearly a sprint down decorated spiral walls. The architecture inside continued to be visually related tongue statue above as through the serpentine bodyvwerevthe very ridged she stepped on and the scales on it's back covered the walls. This continued for a time and Adilita never tired as she autonomously kept the motion down. She estimated that she'd already gone three miles deep into the laberynth. A noticable guess that was more educated based on the steps she'd counted. A city-state barely covered fifty miles and this seemed that the hidden depths were much deeper.
Just when she calculated the true distance for her own amusement, Adilita's southward journey arrived an expanded area with no supporting walls but gigantically carved structures. The pillars had shapes of ancient beasts that seemed more otherworldly than even magical beings. There were six and they appeared to have elemental-like power imbued into crystals held into thier jaws or claws depending on what form the pillar beasts held. The elements were vividly carved into the pillars as poison, fire, ice, darkness, wind, earth and nature. Once again the floor reflected the same masonry as the palace's throne room room. The long antechamber's giant diamond plated floor extended in May rows. Adilita's eyes saw that even the well light chamber eventually swallowed the world in the distance into nothing. Until she made the final stretch of the journey the vast cavern continued to reach the depths of awe inside Adilita. The final destination described itself as something akin to a temple of sacred beast with a circular dias. The stone burned to life bring the flame of magic alive on the dias bringing forth an uprising white tower. Aside from the activation there remained no clues or answers to the reason the grand chamber existed, much less how it remained hidden. Memories of water added an aura of mystery to Adilita's core thoughts but the path before her beckoned to enter the center of the dias. Sigils ran in a ring around the raised dias platform. This time the mystery of the jewel led the way but it appeared there was a manual station for activation as well. The Sigils were made from crystallized water and translated from an older variation that Adilita's library categorized as ancient Anadorian.
"Lo and behold, the ancient beast of the storms, king of kings, and the master of psyche, the Godkiller, titled as Carrow Corrow. His magesty extinguished the veritable powers that defied his father, whom reigns king of Mesta."
Adilita's eyes lit alive as she harvested the newfound knowledge of the Sigils that were just translated. The connection of a deeper story began to form but the feeling lasted a temporary moment. She had entered the tower causing her body to be lifted in the air by the pillar. A musical cord rose inside the chamber from the pillar but the vast space ate away at the volume as it rebounded everywhere. The very power of sound would make Adilita register that it would have rend asunder her frame if not for the open paths of the hall consuming the echoes to oblivion. Instead the particles around her bent the space and her eyes caught the sight of the pillar dissembling her form. She became the light itself gradually as her limbs disappeared under the force of the dias' device. She sensed and felt nothing, not even warmth, as she remained an artificial intelligence that existed as an anomaly of cognitive empty space. True life would have felt bliss under the process that whisked her away. Finally, Adilita ceased to exist inside the pillar of light fountain then the chamber remained empty.
