Aster was staring at me intensely thinking about what she should do, she could give more blood but wanted to give as little as possible. After a good minute she pulled up her sleeves and reached out with her arm giving me permission.
I had no hesitation and took her arm, she didn't feel like pulling away because it didn't hurt last time. Aster was staring at me showing no emotion. I was drinking her blood and realized that even though I felt full I could still drink more. After a minute or so I stopped realizing I had no clear limit to how much I can take in.
"Is your hunger gone now?" Aster inquired.
I looked at her but I wasn't smiling like I should, my body felt like it was burning up but I tried not to show it.
Aster saw me motionless, she waited for five seconds before she noticed heat radiating from my body. Lilith took a little longer to notice but eventually did but didn't move from her spot, she watched from a distance.
I was no longer able to keep my cool and collapsed from the pain, I needed something to help me with the pain. I lifted my arm and slammed the floor putting all my strength into the action, my hand popped like a balloon but the floor beneath me was visibly damaged. I looked at my missing hand as it instantly started to heal back, it was back as fast as it went away. The burning within my body was showing no end, the heat only increased. I felt a tremendous amount of pain but it didn't seem to be causing any damage to my body.
Aster had backed up a few feet and had sweat running down her forehead, she kept taking a step back after the heat got too intense in her area. Lilith was doing the same, she was worried about me but knew she couldn't do anything.
I was starting to groan loudly as the pain increased, after about ten minutes Aster and Lilith had already left the room but I felt the heat had stopped increasing. I was on the brink of yelling from the pain but I noticed something else happening, something within my body was shifting around. Every muscle in my body was twitching making it look like I was in the middle of a seizure, my eyes were zooming in and out, every little sound in the room was picked up, I could smell everything better than ever before. My eyes picked up on little smoke running throughout the entire room but I quickly realized that it could only be described as a scent trail.
My body started to cool down after eight minutes of shifting, my pain slowly began to fade into nothing. When everything had stopped I was able to see and feel everything in a new light, I could sense everyone behind one of the walls. I walked over to one of the walls and put one arm on it then put one foot ahead of the other and bent my knees as I stood in a fighting position. I concentrated on the point I wanted to hit, as soon as I was ready I swung my arm as hard as I could and in a blink of an eye my hand was kind of bleeding but what was more surprising was the wall. I inspected the wall and it was cracked, the solid metal wall was cracked and not bent, five feet of solid steel.
Aster and the others were watching, Aster wasn't very happy because she knew that she can't stand against him, even she wouldn't be able to do that. She bit down on her index finger as she thought, Aster knew that I was a good person and wouldn't hurt her unless she hurt one that was close to me. She decided to keep this information a secret from her boss.
I wasn't done though, I walked to the center and jumped with all my strength but didn't go as far up as I thought I would, only went up around twelve feet high. I was impressed since it was higher than any normal human can jump but knew that there are a few that could go higher up, they were superhuman but still.
I was still interested in how strong I actually was and now I had proper equipment for it. Aster and Lilith walked in and started walking up to me. When they reached me they just stared at me waiting for an explanation.
'Aster is purple, Lilith is violet' I thought to myself, then started to explain, "my body usually heals by heating up the wound and kind of welding it back together. I experienced something similar but on my entire body at once. My body used heat to break down my cells and began to weld them back together and the cause of this was me consuming too much blood which gave me a lot of extra energy. Not only did I get stronger but also a little more durable and all my senses increased drastically. I might have also got a new power but I'm not sure yet, I can see little smoke lines of sort in the air which is also something I can smell, they are all around you two and my guess is it's just your scent," I finished then took a deep breath.
Lilith and Aster were both a little confused but did catch one thing.
Lilith's eyes widened into saucers, "do I smell bad, your heat made me sweat a lot?" she said in a panic.
I looked at her and laughed, "no, don't worry, you smell nice" I said with a big smile on my face.
Aster didn't say anything but was a little flustered from the realization, she stared at me and noticed I was looking at the blank wall where the glass was. I got up and started walking towards the door but signalled them to stay. I walked through the door and then saw two lines of dark pink, I looked at Grace and Kana and noticed their colors were identical, they were both red but I didn't pay much attention to it.
"If you want to enter the room you can, I'm done with cutting my limbs off for today. I'm just going to test my strength and speed now so there shouldn't be an issue," I informed them.
"Oh… ok, I think I'll take you up on your offer," Kana said and started to head for the room with Grace in tow.
As for me I walked up to the control system and clicked a button that immediately started to fix the floor and the wall that I damaged, then I clicked a few other buttons that then made some parted of the wall to open up and bring out some tools that I would need for this test. With that I was set to do my tests and a big grin could be seen on my face as I walked out of the room.
