Finally, the test I wanted most, how strong am I really? This was the first thing on my to do list, I know I'm a little stronger than an average human but how far does that go. Am I strong enough to lift a car? Well a small car I can do and that I know but a bigger car, is that possible? Enough thinking for now, I need to get started.
"OK ladies let's get started already," I said excitedly.
I looked at the first thing, how much can I deadlift. I walked over to a large bar laying on the floor and set up the system for it. If I am able to lift the bar quickly the system will automatically add an extra 100lbs when put back on the floor. I grabbed the bar which was displaying a 2000lbs minimum weight limit and lifted it with ease and repeated this process until I reached 5300lbs. My joints felt like they were being pulled apart, the weight was light but my joints couldn't withstand the pull from the weight. My question was answered partially I guess but the result was a little disappointing.
I didn't wait long to move onto the next test which needed a setup, bench press, I never tested my mechs for it so I needed to get a new setup. I left the room and headed for my creation room, I had something that can quickly print a good tungsten bench for me to use. I still had to wait a good hour for it to finish but had some time to test other things.
I had a grip strength test already up and running but it was a little big so I needed to find some things in storage that were used for testing exosuits. Yes, the good ol' days back when I was 15, I made some good suits and the military never asked me for a newer version of the one's I made.
I looked at Lilith, Kana and Aster, "can you go get the grip machine from storage? Lilith should know the way," I asked with a smile.
With a nod the three left and my attention moved to Grace, "so do you want to help me with another test?" I requested with a small grin.
Grace looked at me a little flustered, "that's why I'm here" she said nervously.
She walked up closer to me and listened closely.
"Get your mind out of the gutter, I need to see how much force my punch and kick can exert" I clarified sarcastically.
Grace got in even closer and wrapped her arms around my waist, "well let's see if a little kiss can make you stronger, I volunteer as tribute for this little test. I'm not taking no as an answer, got it buddy," she suggested teasingly.
I looked down at her gorgeous face and nodded slowly. I wasn't against the idea and had no issues with doing it but would prefer if our first kiss was done under other circumstances.
Grace and I pulled out the punching pad that was scaled up by a ton but it has censors all over it to catch every bit of force that enters it just to accurately catch what happens to a large solid object. I was ready but first I needed to get some padding on my hands to prevent my hands from splattering like they did before. I got into a proper stans and went in half force like I did on the wall and the outcome was surprising, 5862 PSI was my final score. I was then curious about what would happen if I punched the air, would I be able to change the air pressure in the room?
I looked at Grace with a small smile, "can you move back a bit, I want to test something?" I requested.
Grace took a few steps back and I signaled her to go further back until she was up against a wall and I was satisfied with that distance. I raised my fist and pulled it back and loaded it like a spring to shoot out with as much power as possible, I used every muscle in my body to propel my fist forward with a massive amount of power. As soon as my hand reached its destination I heard a crack in my shoulder but my punch exceeded my expectation and I heard a large crack of air coming from my fist and the air throughout the entire room shifted rapidly, I was in the center which made all the air in my lungs to get expelled all at once. I started coughing out blood and gasping for air to no avail, my lungs were blown out but I quickly felt my whole abdomen heating up. Slowly but surely I began to breathe again. Grace didn't look too concerned and stood back where she was before when the other three came back carrying pieces of the grip machine.
Immediately when Kana saw me she put the stuff in her arms down and ran up to me.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?" Kana exclaimed worryingly.
Grace was already walking back towards me and when she got to us she put her hand on Kana's shoulder to calm her down a little, "nothing much, he just punched threw the sound barrier, I felt it all the way from where I was and it made me lose my breath, I'm guessing he blew his lungs out and probably a few other organs," she explained calmly.
Kana looked at her wondering why she's so calm about this. Grace didn't pay attention to her sister, she just kept looking at me.
I was finally able to catch my breath properly and spoke, "Grace is already used to it, she knows I'll be fine. I now know that's possible but not very practical at the moment so I'm done with that test."
Kana looked at me with concern written on her face, she helped me up and we decided to call it a day since it was getting late and they needed to get to sleep. I washed up before bed and decided to go lay down with them unlike the last two nights. I stayed in the living room with Aster talking and sometimes just sitting quietly to think. Aster normally played games all nights to pass the time or had work at night.
I feel like me and Aster got a bit closer during the two nights we spent talking, she looks a little too serious at first but in all reality she actually quite a character. She doesn't show it often but she has a great sense of humor and has a bit of an interest in physics and human biology, probably because of her super human nature but that gave us a lot to talk about.
We laid down in bed like we did once before, Lilith on top, Grace to my right and Kana to my left. Aster looked a bit bummed out because she would be bored just sitting there all night.
Then I used every brain cell and came up with a genius Idea, "Aster, if you want to join in you can…" I said before getting interrupted by Aster, "no… wait… I think I know where you are heading with this… you can put your head in between my legs. I think I will allow it but don't move around too much, I mean you kind of feel me up every day," she said trying to be as clear as possible.
I looked at her strangely, "I was going to say we could just talk quietly because we do both have enhanced hearing but that works too," I said with a broad grin.
Aster looked at me flustered but didn't push it, she moved over to where my head was and moved into position. Aster was enjoying this a little too much, she started petting my hair softly. I had mixed feelings about this arrangement, I know she is trying to do her job but she is also starting to make her way into this group, it felt like she was much smarter than she let on. Right now though I couldn't complain, her legs were very comfortable.
I looked up at Aster and saw her looking at me, the window was open letting in the moonlight that reflected off her hair, her hair truly looked like gold. Her eyes weren't something to scoff at either, her eyes were amber which contrasted well with her golden hair. Her golden beauty had captured my world at that moment.
I moved one hand and put it on her cheek, "has anyone ever told you that you're truly beautiful?" I asked, still enchanted by her beauty.
Aster's cheeks turned into a couple of rubies but she didn't move, "no, people have called me many things, from freak to abomination but never that. Hugo, I think I might be falling for you."

Sorry about not posting anything for two weeks, I got caught up in work. I know that most likely no one was waiting but I'm going to try and push out a few more chapters this week to make up for what I missed.
Also, I plan on putting a new book out soon but I'm going to try and write like 10-15 chapters before releasing any chapters.
