Chapter 72 - Elven Market

Arriving at the Elven Market, Lander noticed that it was bustling with activity. The difference between human market was that it was more organized as you can't hear any shouting. They don't even advertise their shop as they just wait for customers to speak or ask before entertaining them.

But, Lander's problem was his company, the Elven Queen. He now attracted every attention of the Elves and he hated it when he was on the spotlight, "Why do you have to follow me?"

"Why? Do you even have money to buy the things you wanted?" The Elven Queen asked with questioning gaze.

"Money isn't a problem for me," Lander replied as he saw an arrogant Druid and Elf bullying a little beast. When the two suddenly saw the Elven Queen, they were petrified and was rooted in their places. Lander, on the other hand was wandering aimlessly until he bumped the two, "Oh, forgive me! I wasn't watching where I'm going!"

'D*mn Human!' They cursed on their minds but they didn't dare to say it out loud as they would be punished by the Elven Queen.

Sometimes later, Lander was smiling as he became instantly rich upon checking the two money bags he just stole. He saw a lot of gold coins inside and only a number of silver coins without bronze coins.

"Where did you get your money?" The Elven Queen was instantly shocked upon seeing the money bags that Lander was holding.

"What? Do you think of me as poor bloke?" Lander asked casually.

"It's not that...." The Elven Queen wanted to say that the first time she saw him, he was wearing rugged clothes and she never saw any money bags from him ever since. Even when they were on their way to the Elven Market. She wanted to ask him but her thoughts were full of questions, 'Why can't she just be the Queen that was overbearing and being respected by everyone? That they would tremble when she was questioning someone? But why was this man, so hard to tame? Instead, I am the one being tame? Argggh!'

After looking for a while, Lander noticed a crafting shop and asked the Elven lady who was managing the shop, "Excuse me miss beautiful but do you sew clothes?

Greeting Lander and the Elven Queen, she now answered Lander's query, "Yes, mister we do."

"Mind if you sew me a couple of clothes with my own design?" Lander asked smiling.

"We would be happy to comply to your request mister," The Elven lady replied.

Then Lander asked for a paper and some pen but they instead gave him a magical feather that could give off an ink on its own while using it.

After Lander drew his designs, the Elven Queen took it and asked what kind of clothes were those as it was her first time seeing it and Lander explained their uses and importance thoroughly, the shirt, pants, jacket and underwear. He also gave her the design of a bra and panties and told the Elven Lady to measure it according to her and the Elven Queen's breasts and waist as his parting gift to the two of them.

This made the two Elves blush and was very embarrassed to face Lander. However, Lander was enjoying this until he asked, "How long could I wait for you to finish?"

The Elven Lady replied shyly, "You can come back after 2 days mister. But you have to pay first for the materials before you will pay the rest after you comeback."

Without any second thought, Lander instantly gave the 7 gold coins, "Here's all the payment, I can even add more if I am truly satisfied with the outcome."

After that, Lander walked around until he bought the map he needed. He also bought some utensils he needed when cooking: a pot, set of knives, spoons and forks.

Not yet satisfied, he also bought some ingredients he will need when cooking and left the Elven Market.

They were on their way back when Lander heard something, "Please! Help me!"

"Did you hear that?" Lander asked the Elven Queen.

"What? I didn't hear anything!" The Elven Queen replied with creased eyebrows.

"Weird!" Lander said as they continued walking.

As they were about to step out of the Elven Market, Lander heard the same voice again and it was becoming stronger, "Please! I need help!"

He stopped on his track and looked everywhere but didn't see anything.

"Is there something wrong?" The Elven Queen asked worriedly upon looking at Lander's behaviour.

"Nothing, let's just go!" Lander replied pondering.

Same voice kept ringing on his head every five minutes but Lander can't find the source of it so he just shrugged his shoulders as they went back.

Going back to the Elven Palace, Lander instantly went to look for Grey, "Hey buddy, are you coming with me to the Dwarven Mountain?"

Grey instantly jumped up nodding his head as Lander caressed his furs.

"Are you really going now?" The Elven Queen asked fiddling her fingers.

"I have no time to lose!" Lander said determined.

"Won't you stay even for the night? I'm afraid you won't come back ever again," The Elven Queen sadly stated while fidgeting.

"Are you really an Elven Queen? You're becoming more and more stupid!" Lander said looking at the beautiful Elven Queen like an idiot but he still continued, "Have you forgotten that I have to come back for my clothes?"

Upon hearing that, the Elven Queen was stunned and blushed instantly, 'Why did I forget about that? Am I really that stupid?'

"Let's go Grey," Lander said whilst holding the map.
