Lander went away with Grey without turning his head back and the same voice kept ringing inside his head and it's making him crazy. So, he decided to find the source of this voice as he felt something wrong.
Moving constantly, Lander tried to find the source of the voice where it was getting louder.
At the end of a cliff beside the boundary of the Elven Forest, a little wisp was constantly flickering as it's getting weaker. It was trapped inside a little cage hanging on the cliff. It was left there alone.
The little wisp has no strength left but still used its powers to ask for help. It was hoping that someone would come to it.
It was that time that Lander noticed the metallic cage hanging at the endmost of the cliff. Without further thinking, Lander caught the cage and instantly tried his best to open it.
Unfortunately, the cage wasn't something to be destroyed by mere force. He also noticed that the wisp has only a little time left before it perish. It was also the time that the voice stopped ringing inside his head.
Instantly, Lander rode Grey as they hurriedly went back to the Elven Palace.
A lot of Druids and Elves were startled upon seeing Lander and the wisp inside a cage. They were angry but didn't try to stop them, "Move out of the way and notice your Queen and that Old Druid! Quick!"
Inside the Elven Palace, the Elven Queen was having a meeting with some officials of Elves and Druids when they were disturbed by a guard.
"What is it this time?" The Elven and Druid officials was instantly became angry.
"Forgive me but a little wisp's life force was being drained at a fast speed," The Elven guard replied.
"What? Who would do that?"
"This is unforgivable!"
"We have to execute whoever did this!"
Not long, Lander arrived at the meeting and instantly got off Grey as he ran towards the Respected, "Old man, I don't know what happened but this wisp here is in danger!"
"How dare an outcast do that to a guardian of the trees!" A Druid official was angered as he instantly casted lots of sharpened leaf moving towards Lander at a fast speed.
Startled, Lander has no time to deflect nor dodge and was instantly hurt and was now bleeding.
Grey suddenly roared angrily and instantly released his majestic aura that made all the officials shuddered.
Grey's parents, not far away from the meeting was also alerted as they quickly rushed releasing also their auras.
Even Lander saw those officials and released his aura with darkened expression. He aggressively arrived at the Druid official who casted magic and used his knife to cut the Druid's hand, "Arrrggggh!"
The scene happened so fast that the Elven Queen and Respected Druid haven't had a time to react.
"You! Execute him!" The Druid official roared and instantly, a lot of Elves and Druids surrounded him when Grey's parents arrived roaring angrily at the Elves and Druids.
"Stop! Put down all your weapons!" The Respected Druid angrily shouted while looking at Lander, "Why do you have to do that?"
"What? I have to be attacked and I don't dare retaliate? What a stupid bunch of Elves and Druids!" Lander provoked clenching his fists, "You should be thankful I didn't end his life!"
"You claim to be peace loving race and yet you attack without reasons!" Lander continued angrily.
"Then what did you do to our wisp?" An Elven official bellowed.
"Do you think I did it?" Lander questioned with murderous gaze.
"Shut up!" The Respected Druid shouted and glared at Lander, "Explain yourself!"
"Why do I have to explain myself? Why don't you just help that wisp instead of hearing an explanation? What a stupid bunch of *ssholes!" Lander cursed at them not being intimidated.
"So, is this the human they're referring to make you leave your throne, my Queen?" A terrifying voice with a terrifying aura suddenly appeared. He was an Elf with a well built body holding a bow with a sword on his waist. "You chose this human, who was even an outcast over me? Despite me having the completed version of our Elven Bloodline?"
That Elf was sneering while staring at Lander who was as weak as an ant in front of his eyes.
"You! I don't care about your bloodline and I'm tired to be shackled in this place without even a freedom!" The Elven Queen replied with anger looking at the Elf.
"Shut the hell up, all of you and just help that wisp! You should just care about your guardians first before spitting nonsense!" Lander shouted that instantly made them stare at the wisp.
Instantly, the Elves and Druids gave the wisps their life force and sighed a relief when it was now fully glowing. The Respected Druid also casted some sort of magic that freed the wisp from the cage.
It suddenly flew up towards Lander happily as it whispered, "Thank you my saviour!"
Silence, it was pure silence upon listening to the wisp.
"Why was the guardian thanking him?"
"Wasn't he the one who captured it?"
"Can someone please explain to me what is happening right now?"
The Elven Queen, Respected Druid and that Elf who just arrived were even dumbfounded. It was their first time hearing a wisp whispering.
"This .... this..is the evolved form of the wisps, a Whispering Wisp!" The Respected Druid blurted out as if his eyeballs would pop out from his eye sockets.
