Chapter 53 - Entering Amphiptere Academy

The next day, Lander asked Lute the farthest place in the Amphiptere Region. Lute answered that it was the Elven Forest, the territory of the Elves. It wasn't what Lander wanted to hear so he asked the least populated area or village of the Amphiptere Region. Lute answered the abandoned Dark Village, it was very near the Dark Forest but due to constant attacks from spirits and beasts during night time, the villagers abandoned it never to return again. No one ever went to that village again.

"Then it's decided, we will rebuild that village and will make it as a County. That would be the new territory of the Carnegie Clan." Lander said as he also added other things he planned for them. That was to hire capable guard force that could subdue atleast Rank B beasts and spirits and a magic tutor for the Carnegie Clan to learn magic again.

When the Carnegie Clan heard Lander's plan from Lute, their eyes were showing strange emotions. The men were agitated as they wanted to show their might and bring back the prestige of their clan, the women were blushing shyly as though they all have the same idea on their minds, the elders cried as they can finally see a ray of hope for their clan to be rebuild, the children were happily jumping around and the old granny just nodded but deep inside her heart was the utmost respect, care and loyalty that she could only offer towards their saviour, "So where is he now?"

Meanwhile, Lander and Adofo who silently went away while Lute was explaining the plans of Lander to the Carnegie Clan was on their way back to the Amphiptere Capital.

"Why did you kill that man?" Lander asked referring to the man who was stalking them when the auction was done.

"Master, before we became your slave, we had a life. I believe you already met Adriel's child. Lute was an orphan who stood up on his own despite having the weakest capability amongst us guards. As for me, I had a woman. We were about to get married when I became your slave. After she learned of it, she despised me. She would never marry the slave of an outcast," Adofo simply told him as he gazed at the clear blue skies smiling.

"Do you hate me?" Lander asked and continued, "Because if you do, I could free you right now right here!"

"Hate you? At first I did. But after learning the truth, the truth that my woman and that man I killed was having an affair while I was on duty. It wasn't only him but many men were sleeping with my woman. I was so enraged that I was about to slap my woman. When the Centennial Ceremony was done, I learned that my woman was pregnant. It wasn't mine because I wanted to do it the day we got married. But because of nearly slapping her, she wasn't able to conceive. The family of my woman accused me of hitting her belly and slapping her multiple times but I swear in Heaven's name that I never did that to her. It was that man I killed," Lander agitatedly told him his story while clenching his fists and continued walking matching the pace of Lander.

"Right that moment, I was lost. I have no idea what to do until you gave me an assignment. That was the only thing that kept me persevering and continuing to live. So, I would rather be your slave, at least I could focus on other things and eventually forget about her. Besides, even though I don't really understand this assignment much, I am actually enjoying it," Adofo continued as he smiled now turning his gaze towards Lander.

"I'm glad that's how you feel. But don't worry, I really never intended to make you guys my slaves but the circumstances needed it, time will come and I will free the three of you from being slaves. And who knows, sooner or later you guys might be the owner of these things we are building?" Lander said as he patted Adofo's shoulder while he continued walking.

"Master, what do you mean?" Adofo chased at Lander asking.

"You will know when the peach is ripe," Lander said. Although, it was the first time Adofo hear those word but he understood that time will tell when Lander would eventually tell it so he never spoke again.

After a while of silence, Lander explained the information agency he wanted to build. The first one was the individual, the information should contain the description of the face and body, background, soul affinity, level of aura, misdeeds, achievements, weakness, strength and anything that could be talked about by an individual. The records of these individuals should be kept in a single place.

The second one was the organization whether empires, kingdoms, clans, academies and others. It should also include the members of each, the dealings they've done, the allies, achievements, misdeeds and other stuffs that are needed by the customer.

Thirdly, the events and the people who were part of it should also be a part of the information, when, where and how the event happened.

Lastly, anything that relates to location has to do with this, maps, treasure area's, ruins, caves and any discoveries by people.

Then if people wanted to find any information, they should pay the appropriate price. Three gold coins shall be the lowest price.

The information should be ranked according to the difficulty acquiring it. Rank E shall be the lowest and Rank A+ is the highest.

"Go ask for money from Lute and find the strongest two slaves that could protect the agency and one slave whose good at acquiring informations," Lander said after explaining the things about the information agency. "Also, I want you to find informations about the Peerless Beauties, Princess Caster and Magic Maniac from the Wyvern Region."

They then went back to the Restaurant with Adofo clarifying things he doesn't quite understand.

As they went inside, Lander directly went straight to see Adriel and saw Adriel's slave peeling and doing minor stuffs helping him. Also, Adriel's son was also there helping. Lander told him to ask Lute to find a slave that could protect the restaurant. After that, he called Grey and went straight to the Amphiptere Academy.

The Amphiptere Academy was the only Academy that wasn't located inside the Capital. It was located 5 kilometers away from the Capital. It was on a top of a cliff over viewing a very wide lake. The entrance to the Academy was a very wide bridge and underneath was a river connected to the lake.

Lander arrived there and saw a lot of people, there were students who were accompanied by their parents, some were visitors inquiring about the Academy and lastly were professors welcoming everyone.

When Lander appeared, all of them disdained him because of his status except the professors as they knew the real background of Lander despite being an outcast.

"So he was the outcast whom the Head Professor accepted?"

"Let's see how long he will last in the Academy."

"Pathetic, they really accepted an outcast as a student?"

The only woman amongst the professor was the one assigned to welcome him. When she saw him, she glared at him as she said, "Follow me!"

"Hey buddy, why is she kind of angry?" Lander asked Grey as he patted Lander and walked beside him.
