Adriel made some adjustments at the restaurant and Lander also included a signage written on it was the name of the restaurant, Heaven's Diner.
"What an arrogant owner using such name!"
"This is ridiculously stupid!"
"I doubt the food there could create outstanding dishes."
People passing by noticed the name of the restaurant, they ridiculed and mocked it. Lander, who wasn't aware of the ridicules and mocks was inside planning the dishes they would offer and the prices.
After some deliberation and asking Lute and Adriel from time to time, he came up with five dishes: fried rice with egg, steak, adobo, pinikpikan and Adriel's own dish which he named Fine Minced Meat.
The prices were as follows: 5 silver coins, 10 silver coins, 10 silver coins, 15 silver coins and 8 silver coins. Lute and Adriel gasped at the ridiculous prices but they didn't object. Still, Lute said what was on his mind, "Master, I think the prices of the dishes would be ridiculed by our customers. They would not even eat inside."
"That's why we have to invite people who knew that the prices of our dishes are satisfactory, "Lander smiled the looked at Lute, "Send these letters to these people and our business will boom in no time."
After looking at the letters Lander prepared beforehand, Lute then understood why he gave out such ridiculous prices.
"Adriel, rest well because we will operate tomorrow and it would be a bit tiresome as we won't be able to rest." Lander said as he then found a spot inside the restaurant and slept.
Dawn came and Lander got up as he went out for a slight exercise before going back to the restaurant. There he saw Yan Yan, Grey, Stark and Tigress playing with each other, "Yan Yan tell those beasts to stay outside and be our guard."
Entering the kitchen, Adriel was cooking while his hands were trembling. Lander patted Adriel's shoulder. "Relax! Inhale then exhale, think of this as a practice. This isn't a competition."
"But Master, I am still doubting whether I could satisfy our customers," Adofo said as he sighed.
"Just think of one thing, to cook. Don't bother thinking other stuffs. Now, be ready and stabilize yourself because we will now operate," Lander patted his shoulder again before leaving him.
Opening the entrance door, Lander heard the insults of the passers by but he didn't care. He then pointed at the three beasts outside, "You three should guard the entrance and throw out people who give disturbances in our restaurant."
Then he taught Yan Yan how to entertain the customers by going to them and asking them what they would order, write it down and pass it to Adriel.
People were still gossiping and silently mocked the restaurant as they were afraid of Tigress. A couple went inside the restaurant being greeted by Lander, "Welcome guests, please follow me as I will lead you to your seats."
The couple followed him and sat down at the table, then they noticed that he was an outcast so they became instantly irritated "What rubbish restaurant, letting an outcast serve you!"
"I agree, we better get out of here as I would puke eating their dishes here." The woman said then they left.
Lander was already used to mocks and insults so he never retorted. When the couple went out, another news spread out in an instant, "The Heaven's Diner's server is an outcast."
Passing from one person to another the news actually became a rumor where in an outcast serving at the Heaven's Diner was a pervert and would always stare at the bottom of the ladies.
When Lander heard the rumor, he coughed hardly not expecting such a thing. But he was also amused as he imagined those people eating their words later on.
"So is this the place that actually used the Heaven as it's name?" A teenager mocked as his lackeys following him also ridiculed. Tigress growled at them and the group of teenagers shut their mouths immediately.
"Hello guests, welcome to our humble diner. Please follow me so I could lead you to your seats," Lander welcomed them warmly.
"Humble? Then why use the name Heaven? Tsk. And the news was indeed true, an outcast serving this place," The teenager leading them asked with mocking tone.
"Yeah, good thing our ladies didn't came with us or else they would beat this perverted outcast," One of them added an insult.
"Are you going to eat or insult us? Haven't you seen those beasts outside? Do you want to be thrown out?" Lander asked them smiling.
"Fine! We'll eat," The leader answered as they sat down obediently, "So what do you serve here?"
"Please take a look at our menu board beside you," Lander smiled.
When the teenagers saw the prices they were flabbergasted, "This is absurd! Are you trying to rip us off? We don't even have 5 silver coins and your lowest price is 5 silver?"
"Yeah! We should punish this outcast," Another voiced out.
"Agreed!"
"Throw these people out!" Lander ordered as Tigress leaded the tossing followed by Grey and Stark.
"How dare you throw me out! I will report this to my father," The teenager leading the bunch of teenagers shouted gritting his teeth.
"Even if you call your father, you might also include your brother, your grandfather even your uncle, hell you can even bring your whole family here and we'll settle this out!" Lander retorted with mock.
"Fine! We'll see how you could settle this. Don't blame me if you ended dying!" The teenager coughed out blood as he ran followed by his lackeys.
This scene was witnessed by a hooded old man, "Hmmm, that outcast was very brave inviting his own danger. I wonder whose backing this restaurant? Well, let's see."
Lander noticed a hooded man entering and welcomed him warmly, "Welcome guest, please follow me so I could lead you to your table."
The hooded old man thought, 'Hmmm, a warm welcome to their guest. It brings out a respectful impression.'
"Please take a seat and please let me know your desired dishes, the menu is beside you," Lander told the hooded man and bowed.
'Hmmm, such dishes costs so much? The name of their restaurant adding the prices of their dishes, I wonder if they could really satisfy me? Well, let's see.' The hooded old man was deliberating on his own when he finally spoke, "Hmmm, I want all those dishes on top of my table."
"Then kindly wait for atleast 30 minutes before serving you your dishes," Lander said as he bowed again and went towards the kitchen.
When Lander saw that Adriel was still nervous, he then leaded the cooking ordering Adofo from time to time. Unaware, Adriel who was being ordered was now becoming calm and his nervousness eventually left.
Outside the restaurant, their was a commotion going out. A bunch of people were heading straight to the restaurant giving of a malicious aura that made the people scared, even Tigress, Grey and Stark was suppressed.
Entering the restaurant, the one leading the bunch of people shouted, "Where is that stupid outcast who threw out my son? Come out or I will destroy this building!"
"Hmmm, I think you better sit down and calm yourselves." The hooded old man replied with a calm voice not even looking at the people as he was gazing at the entrance of the kitchen area.
"And who are this bastard spouting nonsense in front of my father?" The teenager from before asked with arrogance as he moved towards the hooded old man and removed the hood.
When the father and grandfather of the teenager saw the hair of the old man they immediately went towards him as they bowed respectfully, "Forgive our arrogance Elder as we didn't know it was you!"
"Hmmm, As I said calm yourselves down!" The old man with long purple hair said not minding those people as he was still staring at the same place.
The teenager asked his father about the background of the purple haired old man and upon knowing, he trembled and also sighed as he just removed the hood of the old man and didn't do anything stupid.
Those people who came to cause trouble didn't move out as they found their own seats. Yan Yan who saw everything sighed with relief as she began moving, "Guests, may I know your order?"
Despite seeing the absurd prices, the father of the teenager ordered everything.
As the tables were all taken, Yan Yan moved swiftly as she wrote down the orders of those people. When everything was settled, she then gave the orders to Adriel which he begun preparing immediately.
Lander who heard the shout a while ago wasn't disturbed as he solely focused on his cooking. When he was done, he told Yan Yan to serve it to the hooded old man. Finishing the last dish he cooked, he moved out of the kitchen area and he saw the old man with the purple hair, he nearly tripped, "You're the hooded man a while ago, right Elder?"
"Hmmmm, but why are there an extra dish?" The old man asked.
"As you are the first customer since we opened, I created this dish for you. Consider it free," Lander said smiling. He was about to go back to the restaurant when he turned his head back, "Your hair suits you well. It is somehow soothing."
