Chereads / Why Did the God of Love Choose Me?! / Chapter 32 - Chapter 31

Chapter 32 - Chapter 31

After she was done talking to her we went on our way to head back to our house but ended up being stopped by a random group of adventures.

The four guys looked so cliché. I bet their going to say something like "Hey babes, why don't you ditch those two and join our party?" Or something like that.

"Hey babes, why don't you ditch those two and join our party?"

Yep, I was right.

"Yeah, those two losers look like they don't treat you right." The girls all hid behind me.

I couldn't blame them, they all looked scary.

"So you won't hand em over, huh? Fine, I guess we could kick y'alls ass then we'll show those girls a good ti-"

"Tch, you four are so cliché," the words left my mouth before I could stop them. Seriously, stop! What was I saying? I could get myself killed. But the words kept coming. "I bet we aren't the first group you've said that to today, right? If anything, we're the fourth or fifth. And if that's the case, I still don't see any girls. Know what that leads me to believe? You won't do shi-" before I knew it I was grabbed by my collar and pulled close to one of the guys faces. He reeked of BO and as he spoke his breath smelled like fish.

"What were you going to say, jack ass?" I stared him in his eyes.

"Hey!" Han grabbed the guys wrist and squeezed. He let me go and I took a few steps back as I straightened my collar. "Don't touch my friend, understood?" The atmosphere around Han had changed as he began twisting the man's wrist.

"OW! OW! OW! Okay, I'm sorry. We'll leave you alone. Please, just stop twisting my wrist. It'll break." Han let him go and the guy staggered back. "Let's go guys," he mumbled as they all walked away.

"That was a cliché, thanks Han." We all headed home after that.

The sun was high in the afternoon sky, and it's heat blazed down on us. I was currently sitting on the beach in my swimming trunks and shirt I had bought. Han was sitting next to me, and I was staring at him.

"What are you wearing?" I asked.

I asked this, but I already knew well what it was. He was wearing a yellow speedo. The same one he had tried to get me to where. He was ripped, with a full six-pack of abs and well-toned muscles that you could see flex with each movement he made. His dark skin was rather attractive when fully exposed to the sun. Wait, what am I saying?! I'm not gay!

I looked away with a sigh. Neither of us had gone in the lake yet. We had promised to wait for the girls, who were still changing.

"Does it look stupid?" Han asked.

"Does what?"

"My swim suit?"

"I could barely call that a swim suit," I muttered dejectedly as I looked at him. His head was held low. "But, it does look good on you, I guess," I scratched the back of my head. I knew he was probably embarrassed to wear that, so it's best to make him feel better about himself. Plus, he really did look good in it.

I'm still not gay though! If you can't admit when a guy looks good that just makes you gay. Because that means you're looking at him in a romantic way and not a "wow, he's good looking" kind of way.

Relationship with Han has grown

All stats increased by 50

What the hell is this!? Don't tell me!

"Hey, Han," I spoke casually.

"What's up?"

"Are you, by chance, gay?" I asked. He fell silent, but I still had my answer.

"...I'm sorry," he said softly.

"What for?" I asked serenely.

"Not telling you."

"Nah, you have nothing to be sorry for. You want to be gay, be gay dude," I patted his back with a smile. I honestly had no problem with people being gay, never have. "It's your choice, and just like I'd want you to respect my choice, I'll respect yours."

Han smiled at me. "Thank you," he said sincerely. "That really makes me happy."

"Do the girls know?"

"Yeah. They've always known." Mmm, I see. More secrets being withheld from me. I'll have to have a talk with everyone later about that.

"Hey, Kichiiii!" A voice called out to me, making me freeze. It was Sora's voice, but I knew the other girls were right behind her.

"Yo!" I didn't turn around as I spoke. I couldn't compose myself enough to look at them. If I see them in those swim suits at the beach with the sun shining on their skin, I may die of blood loss.

But there was no escaping seeing them, as they all ran in front of me.

"Sooo, how do we look?" They all stuck a sexy pose.

"ACK!"

"Oh no! That's a lot of blood! Rubellia!"

"Already on it!" She cast a healing spell on me and I shot up.

"S-sorry about that, ah-ha-ha," I laughed pathetically.

"Well, what do you think?" Patora asked as she twirled, her ruffle flew up a little, revealing the actual bikini underneath. I could feel the blood rushing through my body.

"Oh, uh, you all look great. Like, so great I need y'all to get away or I may get another nose bleed." That was actually a complement, and they knew that because they all giggled.

"Well, let's go swimming!" Sora went to rush into the water but was stopped by Rubellia,

"Wait!" She pulled Sora's arm.

"Whaaa! Why?!"

"We're waiting for one more person, that's why!"

I looked around. 2. 4. 5. No that's everyone, what does she mean one more per.... a flash back to the smith shop came to mind.

So Rubellia had asked Ellie if she wanted to come, and she said that she would love to. She lied to me about having something made!

"Well, let's wait for her then," I grumbled.

"Um...Did you know, Kichi?" Rubellia asked, figuring out I knew who she was talking about.

"Nope. I just figured it out." I put my hands behind my head and lied down as I closed my eyes and awaited for our surprise guest to arrive.

We were waiting for 15 minutes before Elie's voice called out from behind us.

"I'm here!"

"Yo!" I called back, still lying in the same position I had been in for 15 minutes. "Let me guess, got lost?"

I heard her footsteps slow down on the sand as I said this and she puffed as she replied. "It's not mah fault this place is so hard ta find. An' the map Rubellia gave was barely any help!"

"Hey! I tried my best, map-making isn't my job, after all."

"Alrigh', well, is everyone ready?" Ellie asked excitedly.

"Yep," I opened my eyes and sat up. I froze when I saw Ellie.

She was wearing an all-black bathing suit. Her bottoms were held together by two knots on each side of her waist and the top was held by a knot in the front. I quickly looked away.

She dresses like an adult, I couldn't help but get flustered.

"Aw, that means he likes it, Ellie," Rubellia chuckled. I ignored the comment and stood up.

"Well, let's go," I said.

"Yeah!"

The water was cold and refreshing as I floated on my back. The lake was shallow around the edges, but the farther put you got, the deeper it got. And where I was right now was in the middle of it, the deepest part.

I was minding my own business and staring up at the cloudless blue sky when something grabbed my leg. Before I could yell out, I was pulled under.

Once under, whatever had grabbed me released me, and instead of returning to the surface, I opened my eyes and looked around. The fishes were swimming peacefully, as if they didn't have a care in the world. I saw nothing as I looked left and right.
