The rogues came in waves, their numbers greater than I had anticipated. The first of them slammed into the Ironwatch defenders like a battering ram. Elara, already transformed into her python form, coiled and lashed out, her massive body wrapping around a group of rogue werewolves, squeezing the life from them before tossing their broken bodies aside.
Neal was next to her, in his full were-rhino form, barreling through the rogues with reckless abandon, using his sheer size and strength to break their lines. His horn gored through three rogues at once, sending their lifeless bodies crashing to the ground.
I joined the fray, my sword flashing in the moonlight as I cut down the first rogue to reach me. The adrenaline surged through my veins, heightening my senses. The world around me became a blur of fur, teeth, and flashing claws as I dodged, parried, and struck.
