My voice felt distant, echoing in an empty, unfamiliar void. The air around me shifted—both hot and cold—prickling my skin like shattered glass. Smoke billowed from different parts of the city, curling upwards to meet the stormy sky. The light was faint, barely filtering through the windows of familiar buildings now abandoned and lifeless. There were no children playing, no bustle in the streets. Just... silence.

I walked forward, each step on the wet pavement feeling too real to be a dream. The streets, once filled with life, now stood eerily vacant. Shops were boarded up, their windows cracked, and the eerie quiet gnawed at my mind. The last thing I remembered was the chaos at Stormreach. The crashing waves, the ship being torn apart by the storm.
