Aya's POV
As it was agreed, the Good Father showed me all that he had been able to figure out from the charts and graphs for creating portals. "Wait.. Mako I think I figured it out! The reason your mathematics are cut off is because you don't have the equation for the power inside of me. Otherwise they are perfect!" I ran out toward the center if the small domed room and using Mako's equations in my mind, I focused at a single point in time.
Raising my hand, and pointing in the air with my finger, I let the power bloom and grow. Condensing it I made a glowing white hot cut in the air about four feet in length, vertical. Then another crossing over the other at dead center, about three feet wide. Mako watched in stunned disbelief.
Suddenly, the four corners of the portal tore away leaving me to stare at a swirling oval of blackness. That hung in the air. Without thinking, I walked into it.
"Aya!" Hearing Mako call out was the last thing I heard from the other side.
