Aya's POV
A year has passed since the incident with Lord Kai that left me near dead.
I remember there was darkness. My entire body had shut down. No sight, no hearing, no taste, no touch, no scents, no ability to move. Only to feel the emotions I had gone into torpor with. Anger, rage, hate, helplessness, weakness. Then, nothing.. Limbo.
Blood splashed on my face and I felt the sense of feeling begin to return to the skin that it touched. Yet, I could not move. Soon, it was in my mouth, bringing my taste buds alive while it dribbled down my throat; but still, I couldn't respond. The blood stopped..briefly.
