Aya's POV
The light breeze carrying the scent of the lycans made my nose twitch. As I knelt down on a thick top branch, my hands clenched around the wood as my nails scoring the bark slowly. I realized my body was tensed up from head to toe at the sight of the lycans. Which isn't too surprising, we are natural enemies. But if we vampires and lycanthrope packs plan to survive in this world of humans, we have to bury a great deal of our deep seated hatred for one another.
Scrunched down, I hold my right arm out at shoulder height, with fingers splayed to signal Master Liu and his men, not one hundred yards away to "Hold steady." Word spread.
From my vantage point, I saw a glimmer, and then a small, bright flash. Oh shit! The forest vampires are on the move, surrounding Jin and his men and without their knowledge! This was going to be a full out battle, if not careful.
