Aya's POV
The evening air was cool against my skin as I walked slowly up along side the river. The water churned and bubbled near the shoreline. It was a beautiful sound. I was still wearing my red hakama pants, with the kimono style shirt tucked in from practice, with Master Liu. For once, I allowed my long black hair to hang free, without adornment. It felt wonderful.
On my way here, I had opened up my mind, outward, to sense any hint of an aura and there was nothing.. Yet. Bending down, I picked up a small, flat stone. A 'worry' stone, if you will. As I walked the remaining fifteen minutes to the fallen tree, I worried that poor stone a great deal.
In black once again, Lord Kai stepped out from among the trees, shocking me, since I had not felt him arrive. "You came.." he purred seductively with his deep voice.
This was a man I had kissed! I just didn't know how to act. In the end I settled for wrapping my lightly shaking arms around myself and lowered my eyes. "Yes, I did." I raised my eyes again as he approached and wrapped me in his warm embrace.
"Why are you with those men, Aya? You should be with someone like me who can offer you real protection." I had never given him my name! We have an informant! Thank the God's for having been able to control my heartbeat.
Placing my hands on the softness of his shirt My black eyes met his. "I am new here and am with them by choice. One of which, I have known a long time. I do not know you, Lord Kai."
Lord Kai smiled as he placed his hands over mine, on top of his heart. "Do you want to?" he ran his hand over my hair, stroking it in a comforting way. "And please, no more 'Lord Kai.' Just call me Kai."
Feeling a bit nervous still, I extracted my hands from his and leaned up against the fallen tree. "I would not have come here otherwise, Lor- I mean, Kai."
Taking the two steps toward me, Kai rested his hands on the tree, at either side of waist. Leaning his body against mine, our breath mingling. "Would you come with me Aya? I want to know you, all of you." his head dipped down to lick the sweet spot on my neck.
This time when I pushed on him, it was just enough to grab his attention. "Oh stop it, Kai.. I mean, is there a shortage of female vampires around these parts?" I giggled so he would take no offense, but I think he did.
Kai took off his long black cloak, and tore out the lining. The lining was covered in concealed silver daggers in rows from top to bottom. He then tossed it over my head. Making me scream from the pain of the silver burning my exposed skin, and face. Somehow he tied it in place and picked me up over his shoulder. By the direction he was taking me right into the river.
Letting me slide down his side, he slid an arm around my waist and pulled me close. He took me own deep into the dark swirling depths of the water where no one can hear you scream.
The water banged the daggers around against my head about as well as it tried to open the neckline of my shirt to expose more skin to the silver. I kicked, though not as hard as I could have. We swam down a tunnel of sorts and veered off to the right about sixty feet.
Suddenly he kicked off of a wall and we came splashing up into the entrance of a large place which I could tell by the sound our lungs made as we surfaced. Pushing me up on the edge of the hole in the ground of the cavern he rose up quickly and gently he removed the sliver dagger cloak. Wondering how badly I appeared, the look of distaste on his face said it all. "Why have you done this? There was no need!" Quickly my poorly damaged face healed leaving him stunned.
"I suspected.. But I wasn't sure until I just saw how fast you healed. You really are like me." With just his fingertips he touched my face as if in reverence, and then he laughed. "Together we will be so powerful! Think of it, Aya."
Taking my face into his hands he crashed his lips on mine, holding nothing back as his arms wrapped around me. His lips were smooth and soft, warm yet hot. Slowly he slid a hand in my shirt to caress my breast. When his fingertips pinched the nipple I gasped; taking full advantage of it, plunging his tongue into my mouth where he explored my mouth vigorously, our two tongues fighting for dominance. Never had I been kissed this way and I felt it all the way down to my core. But the reminder of him killing my parents had me kneeing him in the crotch hard and rolling away from him. "Damn you!" I seethed as I looked at him while my demon took over my mind, my eyes turning crimson.
Doubled over for a while, he shrugged and hissed out. "You can't blame a guy for trying. Damn, Aya! Have you seen your reflection lately? You're stunning, absolutely stunning, and it seems that all in the world know this except you!" Getting up slowly, he went and sat on a flat 'bed shaped boulder that had fallen from the ceiling.
"No. You're just pissed off with me because I refuse to just fall into your bed, like all the other's. It's take me, or break me until I do, with you, isn't it?" There was no answer as I circled him seeing a weak spot. "Yes, I thought so."
Quickly, Kai spun around and picked me up hard by my upper arms, slamming my head down brutally against the flattened stone. It had been done so fast, he had caught me unaware. Crying out at the pain, I reached up and felt my scalp, only to return with two bloodied fingers. Grabbing my hand, quickly, he sucks the blood off my fingers, his eyes never leaving mine. "Just as I thought." he said as he ran his tongue between my fingers, his crimson eyes meeting mine again. "Mmm... A 1st generation vampire."
In no time he pinned my arms at my sides with his knees and bent his body over mine, rubbing against me intentionally. Carefully he moved my hair aside, his breath coming hot and fast in my ear as he plunged his two inch fangs into my neck; my body arched in pain. My screams never stopping as he drew on my artery viciously with the intent to inflict pain in the extreme until luckily, my world went black.
