Aya's POV
I took a nice long hot bath as I waited for Lok and Nianzu to get back from the river. As I got dressed I started to feel a very strong and ancient presence. Worried for the safety of others, I threw on my black cloak and tied my red priestess sash.
As I stepped from the hut, I saw Lok and Nianzu walking toward me in the soft grass. Lok saw the look on my face and reacted quickly, pushing Nianzu into the hut. "Stay here, and be safe. A kind of danger may be nearby." nodding, Nianzu jumped into the pile of bedding and hid himself under the bedding.
While Lok grabbed up a pair of pants and shirt, as he got dressed, I smiled at him. "I think I know who it is." He came back outside where I was standing, and moved in front of me as if he were guarding me and the hut.
"It never hurts to be prepared, love." his head lowered and his eyes turned golden as the weight of the ancient aura got heavier.
