All packed up and ready to go, the lycans started moving off through the forest, with me and Aya taking up the lead. She had transformed into her white wolf form at two times normal size for this when she could have traveled by other means. But no. She was proud to be there with us, carrying Nianzu on her back in a special harness.
Unfortunately for Diamon, she wasn't born with the special ability to change her form. She is 2nd instead of a 1st generation vampire, like my Aya. But she ran along side us and if she needed the break, Yong would carry her. The little woman comes from sturdy stock with the will to survive. I admire that.
Those that were too young, were carried on the backs of those that cared for them.
It was a glorious sight to see. Approximately two hundred and twenty six lycans running fast through the tangled forest of trees, heading north. My brothers and sisters were like a force of nature. No one and nothing dared to get in our way.
