Aya's POV
It was a bit of a surprise to see Lok announce himself in such a dominant way to Shen, though I can understand his reasons why. It helped to put those that had been following Shen, into place, by reminding them who their alpha really was. When they would return to their home, word would then spread. That Lok was alive and kicking, with a new addition of lycans.
Grasping me by the hand, Lok led me through the throng of lycans, to peek beyond the trees.
Trees looked like black lace against the deep blue velvet of the starry night sky, The moonlight revealing the many huts and their owners pit fires glowing like jewels from far away. It was incredible. I could smell the scent of a great deal of water so I knew there was a good source for the pack, now doubled in size. The fields almost glowed a shade of silver that took my breath away. It was perfect!
