Principal Gabriel said, "Why did you release your magical power?" Mordred responded, "It seemed like a challenge, so I responded plus, Arthur might be a strong person but I could beat him without my demonic power." "Yes, that may be, but do you want to become a target for angels and humans?" Gabriel asked. Mordred seemed desperate to prove to others and himself that he was strong. Gabriel wondered why.
What Gabriel had said brought back some not so pleasant memories for Mordred. What he started to remember was, when he was young he had a best friend. Her name was Rebecca and he saw her get murdered by a priest. He tried to protect her, but was unable to. He was knocked out. By the time he came to, the priest was dead and his dad was covered in blood. As Mordred was fading in and out of consciousness, he heard his dad say, "I'm sorry I couldn't make it here sooner." From that day on, Mordred vowed to become stronger. He started to train with his dad. As Mordred became stronger, his magical powers awakened and when his dad saw, he was proud because what he saw was a bridge to truly bring peace. As Mordred was walking down his school hallway, he bumps into a low rank angel named Seraph. Seraph says, "I'm sorry", but as soon as Seraph looks up at Mordred, he saw his white halo and looked at him with anger and hatred.
