When Kirk saw the notification he was overjoyed. He excitedly said "Info Bite!"

After seeing the stats for the skill his excitement slowly dwindled.
"Only an extra two damage? I guess I can't hope for too much with such a basic skill like Bite." Kirk had decided to kill a couple more worms to level up to level 4. He had decided to wait 20 minutes to wait for his stamina refill. While he waited he kept on looking at the wide and expansive waters that were in front of them. He decided to use Inspect on each one and was very surprised at the results.
He had tried inspecting a big turtle that seemed to swim at the bottom of the lake. Kirk had guessed that the lake was probably 20 meters deep. The turtle was the size of a car and seemed to have a deep purple shell with multiple golden lines on its shell. He was startled not only because of the size and looks but by what the system had notified him.

He had assumed that he would be able to see everything's levels, health, and name but at this moment he knew he was proven wrong. The next part though scared the life at him because what he saw was that the turtle turned to glare at him. It felt like his whole body was being squashed because of the enormous pressure and killing intent that leaked out of this creature. Luckily though after a second it just swam away until he was no longer able to see it anymore. He knew that creature was able to pinch him to death if he really wanted to and this made Kirk realize how small and weak he was.
After this incident, he had made himself a new goal. The goal was to kill that turtle and become stronger.
After sitting there for 20 minutes he was able to learn about the environment around them. All creatures seemed to be within the level range of 1-15 at the very least. He had figured out that the highest level he could inspect was level 15 and any higher would yield him no results.
He was also able to see all the creature's names. The creatures included lizards, worms, turtles, fish, mussels, crabs, trouts, and also shrimp that looked to be half a meter wide. All these varied in different sizes from couple inches like the worms to a couple of meters like some of the turtles, crabs, lizards, and fish.
After going through his knowledge of all the things he had seen and begun swimming to a group of worms he had seen earlier. There were 5 of them all being level 2. When he swam over he instantly used a bite on the closest one and took off his head in a second.

Right after he killed the first one he immediately went for the second one and ended up as the first one had.

When he killed the second worm the other worms had noticed their dead comrades they proceeded to shoot out black pebbles like things from their mouths. Kirk had paid no mind to these orbs because he had seen the worms start trying to slither away.
He started chasing one and when he reached after a little bit of swimming he was able to kill it. Sadly though, he was not able to find the other one but wasn't too disappointed because he had heard some bell sounds in his head.

"I got some more stat points but I don't really know what I want to do with them yet. Well at least I have got more stamina." While Kirk was reveling in the fact that he had leveled up he had heard a strange sound coming behind him. When he turned around he was shocked and frowned.
*Worm King

The Worm King was around a foot which was still 3-4 times bigger than he was. At first, Kirk had thought to flee. When he noticed that it was only one level bigger than him he thought he would be able to handle it and it would just take a little bit more time but boy would he regret that choice.
Kirk had decided to do a head-on attack and swerve to the side to bite it. When he was right up to it the Worm was faster than what Kirk had thought and he was just barely able to avoid the Worm King's teeth. He knew that this would be a hard fight but still thought he had a possible chance.
He again swam up to it hoping to get him to bite. The Worm King did try to bite him. When he came forward Kirk was able to swim upward and avoided it getting him above the creature. He then swam right up to the creature and used a bite. The bite was able to dig into the flesh making the Worm King cry then he flipped Kirk off and yelled at him with rage in its eyes he then started shooting little black bubbles like the ones the little worms from before did. The only difference was that these were a lot more dangerous
Kirk was hit by the first bubble and noticed that he had gone down 10 HP in one strike. This struck fear in him and he instantly tried to run away. Thankful the bubbles were not as fast as the worm thing itself but he was still just barely able to dodge them. However, after a while of swimming, he had fortunately got hit again making him throw up blood.
He was thinking of how he would be able to get out of this situation alive and while he was thinking he had thought of something. That one thing was stat points. He remembered that he had saved up all of his stat points.
When he thought of this he gritted his teeth and said something out loud.
"Apply 10 stat points to speed!!" Kirk had prayed to hope that this was the proper way to add stat points. He was glad to hear a bell but when he saw the message his mind was full of anger.
*Are you sure that you want to apply 10 stat points to speed?* at this moment another two bubbles from the Worm King had gotten on his tail and when he heard this instantly yelled out saying
"YES YES, I DO I DO JUST GIVE THEM TO ME!" He was extremely mad and nervous because the bubbles where an inch from his tail and if he was any slower he would die right then and there

Right when he heard this message he felt like his whole body was given a boost of power that was intoxicating. He was much faster then what he was before.
Although he felt fast he could tell he was barely faster than the fish by a couple of points. All of the bubbles could never catch him and after another 10 minutes of running, he had finally got rid of the ire of the Worm King. After that, he vowed to himself that soon he would slay the beast and make dinner of it because of the embarrassing moment that just occurred.
