When he had looked back at the tunnels he had noticed something strange. He had heard a strange sound coming from one of the tunnels but he couldn't decern which tunnel it had been coming from. He discovered it had to be from one of the tunnels on the left. Meaning it was either the red, blue, or white tunnel. He went to inspect the water one first since that was the one he was gonna go into anyway but when he approached it was strangely quiet. When he got to the other tunnels though he knew where the sound was coming from.
It was from the green tunnel. As he got closer to the tunnel he noticed that the music was coming from a flute of some kind. When he got right in front of it he also heard another thing. It was a deep humming sound that was quieter than the flute but was still noticeable.
the more Kirk had listened to it the more his mind got jumbled up with all kinds of different stuff. He felt like his head was gonna explode soon. He saw memories of his past life and he felt like he was in a completely new dimension. His whole body was starting to feel like he was being pressed up against a huge mountain. He was slowly losing consciousness and after a good 30 seconds, he was trying his hardest to keep his eyes open cause he knew if he shut them he would no longer open them again. He was about to give in when he had heard a voice.
"Don't give up this is only the first test and if you last another 20 seconds then you will pass." It was a voice he had never heard before. It sounded robotic-like Takis but this one was a lot less emotional it was like talking to someone who had no emotions.
For whatever reason, after hearing that voice Taki was filled with new vigor bit in his heart but he still wasn't any better physically. There was this nagging feeling in his head that if he didn't get through this, then it was like giving up on something more amazing than anything in the world. He sat there for another 10 seconds but knew he could only go for another 5 seconds. The weight on him was much stronger than when he had first felt it.
It now felt like there were 2 mountains on him and he now knew how cruel this world was. He had just wandered in here trying to find the way out but he ended up in this crazy place and now was being crushed like a car being crushed at a junkyard. He then saw memories of his family in his past life and he had thought to himself "Haven't I already had my life flashed through my eyes earlier." Of course, he couldn't say that out loud or he would be crushed quicker.
Then all of a sudden he had seen his mom smiling at him before he went into the surgery room hoping that he would come out safely. Then he yelled to himself saying "I NEED TO LIVE AND GO BACK HOME SAFELY TO MY MOM."
Or that's what usually happens in these types of death situations but Kirk wasn't that heroic he just withstood the pressure with tears in his eyes and was thinking about how not to crumple. After a couple more seconds he had finally collapsed and his body was crushed into the ground but he was still breathing faintly.
"Good job little one." That was what resounded in the cave after he had fallen unconscious. He then disappeared within thin air.
.....
Kirk was now floating in mid-air. He looked around and noticed he was in another cavern but this was lit with torches and seemed to be filled with air. This surprised him because he could breathe and "swim" in this area. He felt like he was flying in this new air. He then saw something long stairway going up to a platform. It was at least 100 stairs.
He walked up to them and once he saw that nothing looked wrong he started flying up the stairs. It wasn't very fast but it wasn't slow. When he was waking up he noticed that he didn't feel like he was crushed to death by mountains yesterday. It was like nothing happened yesterday.
"Taki did I die yesterday?" He wanted to ask Taki because he felt like she was the only person he could talk to right now.
*No you did not die yesterday you were just unconscious. After you had fallen the same robotic sound you had heard before had said "Good job" and then you were floated away, I also don't remember the rest after that.*
Now that he knew that it was real he was surprised that he felt brand new today. He decided to check his stats to see if anything happened to it.

It was indeed the same as it was before. So he decided not to think about it until he got to the top of the stairs. It took him another 5 minutes to get up it and what he saw surprised him. It was a podium with a single palm-sized orb. It was shining like an emerald on top of the podium.
He decided he might as well go up to it but before he went up he looked back again and he was speechless at what he saw. The stairs he had once climbed up was now gone and replaced with nothingness. It was like a black void and the more you stared at it the more you got lost in it. Kirk had known before not to pay too much attention to stuff like that after he had listened to that music. He turned back around and walked up to the podium and before he could do anything he felt his hand get magnetized to the orb.
He was surprised that he had done that but what surprised him was the sound that played after he touched the orb.
*Do you want to accept the inheritance of the Wind Tailed Whale?* Kirk had heard this and was speechless. "This is supposed to be an inheritance?" While he was thinking this knew he that he stumbled upon something mighty.
"Since I am already here why not accept." That is what he was thinking but he didn't know that this inheritance would be much more interesting than he had first expected it to be.
