After Kirk had finally gotten rid of the Worm King he went into hiding in a little hole. He wanted to hide in the hole to recover his stamina and think of why he was so much weaker than the creature even though they were 1 level apart.
After thinking for a while he had thought to ask Taki her thoughts on the situation.
"Taki why was that Worm King so much stronger than me even though there was only a one-level difference?"
*There are two main reasons why you were not able too beat the Worm King. 1. Was because you have not fully used all your stat points so your stats are still the same as they were when you were level 1. *
*Reason number two is that when creatures level up every five levels they get to choose a new skill out of a couple of options. Whatever skill you choose can reflect what options you have when you evolve.*
"You mean I can evolve?!* Kirk was excited to hear this because he did not want to stay as a tadpole forever.
*Yes you can evolve every 10 levels. When you evolve you can get options on different forms you can evolve into. The forms that you can choose from can be influenced by different things. Some included skills, habitat, items, and food just to name a few.*
"So that means to say that I can evolve when I get to level 10. Now I'm more determined to get stronger." Kirk now wanted to get stronger but when he was finished resting he got out of the hole and frowned.
"I have no idea where I am." Kirk had discovered that he indeed had lost where he was but when he looked out further he was amazed. 20 meters away there looked to be a big field of brightly colored coral plants.
"Am I still in a lake?" He was now very perplexed about the place he was at. In his previous life he had remembered learning about corral in school and he remembered hearing that corals were usually only located out in the oceans. He now wondered to himself if he was still in a lake or if this lake was just a special one.
He decided to swim over and check out the coral himself. When he had used inspect he was surprised at what he saw.
*Shapeshifting Tripe Fish

He was very surprised to see this fish was able to shapeshift. He decides to swim around it to see how big it was but he noticed something amiss. When he inspected the other corral he had seen different stats.
*Rope Coral Plant*
Kirk was surprised about several things. He had thought that all the coral was a fake corral but it seemed to be only the one plant was a fish. He also noticed that it did not have a level or health bar and this made him wonder if It wasn't a creature but an actual plant.
He had decided to test his theory. He picked up a piece of rock off the ground and threw it out of his mouth and when it hit the coral nothing happened. After he did that he swam to the shapeshifting fish. He was planning to do the same thing that he did to the coral to this. Before he threw the rock he noticed a pearl within the coral. He decided to throw the rock at the pebble.
What he saw next really surprised him. When he threw the rock at the pearl, sharp teeth twice his size chomped down on the rock instantly disintegrating it.
"I should definitely stay away from this creature and other creatures that are higher level than me." After he saw that happen he went back to the coral plant from before.
"Should I just try to eat it? It does say it a plant with no health or level." After a while of thinking, he decided he should try his luck with the coral. He swam over and took a big bite out of it. When he did he was surprised to hear a bell in his head.

"Wow, this is actually good. If I would describe it I would definitely say it tasted like lettuce but at the same time had the taste of an onion. The texture feels right and when I bite down on it reminds me of crunchy toast.
He had decided that this would be his new food for now and after 15 mins of eating he was able to obtain 35 Exp just from eating it. After he was done eating he decided to look around for some prey so he can obtain more Exp. He also decided to use inspect so check the creatures around him. A couple of minutes of exploring the new terrain Kirk heard a bell sound in his head.
*Skill:
He was at first confused about why it had leveled up. After a while of thinking, he deduced it was probably because of him checking out all the monster's stats that were around him. He had now decided that he would try to use Inspect as much as possible so he can level it up faster. After checking the animals around him he had noticed a posse of shrimps that had the levels 3-4.

When he looked at the message he was surprised. He was able to see more information and that information included where they were located. After looking at the shrimps again he had noted there were 4 Slip shrimp in total. Three-level 3's and one levels 4. He watched them for a while and noticed that they each had a pair of claws that looked to be the size of the battery. Kirk decided to launch a sneak attack on the biggest one so he can finish that one first.
When he saw an opening he dove in and took a big bite tempting the Shrimps health by 15. The shrimp had noticed him and was instantly furious. They all came charging in at once to try to attempt to chop him up. Kirk was lucky that his speed was 13 or else he may have not made it out alive. When was being chased he had used Bite a couple of times to do some minor damage and noticed that they always seemed to protect their tail whenever he would attack.
This got him to assume that their tail was a weak spot for them. After a minute of being chased he saw a big boulder behind him and decided to climb up it for high ground. When he got up there the shrimps didn't notice that he had gotten higher but when they did it was too late.
Kirk had already dived in behind the strongest shrimp and had bitten its tail. making it do 20 damage. this really surprised him because his Bite originally only did 7 damage. He now knew that attacking their weak spots no matter how weak the skill was, it would always do a lot more. Seeing that the health of the shrimp was low he decided to finish him off In one blow.

When he saw the Exp he was ecstatic. Seeing the other shrimps still standing there he took the chance to finish them off. He was able to finish 2 off before the third one ran away.
