The small dagger that hit his arm was laced with some sort of poison or toxin, in his first fight what he lacked the most was spare attention, especially since he was dealing with at least 5 different highly trained people. Making the mistake of not checking his body with spiritual power was something that he really couldn't blame himself for.
Suddenly the poison hit him all at once and he lost the ability to move his limbs, his Conscience turning dull and slow. Fighting to keep his mind straight he thought of his book, particularly when the protagonist and the villain aka Li Wei first met.
-Novel-
"The day that I noticed the existing of this little boy was well after a couple of weeks since he had joined the sect.
Roomer had it he was taking from a village that had been massacred by bandits, something that had also happened to me.
But, while our story was the same and our ages similar when we arrived the way we were treated was heaven and earth. That boy was growing under the care of his seniors and was praised by the teachers. He had strong ice abilities that were growing at a abnormal rate, and there was no end in site yet.
He was bright and talkative, his hair was dark brown nearing black and he had sharp blue eyes. He was a very cute 10 year old. When he smiled it seemed that the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. Li Wei had only heard roomers that a cute junior had joined and was very talented but that was it.
The encounter happened suddenly, Li Wei had gone to the task hall and was leaving out one of the far side doors because he hated socializing, when he bumped into someone.
Stumbling unexpectedly he dropped the bottle of liquid he was carrying and it shattered everywhere.
Immediately there was a panicked voice trying to apologize, asking to make up for it. Before Li Wei was a young boy, whose appearance matched exactly what the roomers said.
"..Xiu Nuan?" Li Wei said under his breath.
"Oh! Senior, you already know my name!"
-End novel scene-
As the scene flashed through his head he was able to maintain some of his rationality and tried to listen to his captors conversation. His whole body was numb but he could tell that they were moving, and quickly too. It seemed he was being carried over someone's shoulder. His eyelids were shut and his ability to move his arms or legs was -100.
It was probably already surprise if that he was able to remain Conscious.
"Hurry, if we don't get this guy back before dawn boss is going to be angry!"
Another voice said, "I'm not going to deal with it eaither! Who knows why she wanted him."
'Hmm..She? Then there boss is a girl? Who do i know that's a girl and would want me?...'
The previous voice spoke to the other,
"Well there was that scary scared dude who she invited over as well... I wonder why he's there, his red eyes scared me."
'!!!'
'It can't be who i'm thinking about right? I don't remember any woman targeting me but... a scar man with red eyes! Isnt he the incarnation painter from the book?!
If so then i'm in trouble...While he won't be as strong as he was in the later parts of the book where he was a mini BOSS he should still have a large amount of power.'
Before he could continue his thoughts he felt himself getting drowsy and his line of thought became unclear, before passing out he heard someone mention a name, "..to Shi mountain..-" Shi mountain ment corpse mountain, where the strongest bandits lived. And it was because they were all gathered together that they were so much harder to beat.
—Flash forwards 2 days-ish—
The next time he awoke his arms were chained above him and his feet chained to a wall, the wall in which he was laying against. There was no light in the place he was and he had to assume that he was in a prison of sorts. Judging by the stone beneath his feet and the subtle dampness in the air he was sure he was underground, most likely under Shi mountain.
Or at least that was his best guess. As long as he was able to leave this prison and make his way to find a town he was sure he'd be able to find his way back to The Soaring Sword sect. And when he did he wanted to go into closed door cultivation no matter what.
Why couldn't he have agreed to the junior deciples and just stayed behind and told a story?! He would go into cultivation and wouldn't care if people said he becoming cold and unsociable again! He just wanted to be lazy! Not be kidnaped and be locked up in a prison!!!
"..Yes i know, ok. The effect should have worn out by now. I'll bring him up now. Please tell Boss we will be there soon."
A sound of rushed footsteps echoed in the stone corridor and soon Li Wei saw a light source rapidly approaching his cell. From what he could tell his body was very sore and his illinois ability had been temporarily blocked. Something only someone at origin core stage 4 or higher could do.
If so he was in trouble, after all he was on the cusp of breaking into origin core stage 1, so while taht was good he basically had no experience in origin core which ment he was basically he was still at core formation stage 5 about to break through. But that was only if he broke out of stage 5 core formation, which had yet to happen. Making his chances slightly worse.
Then there was the bigger factor, to block someone's power you had to be origin core 4 or higher, which ment that there were chances that the other who sealed his powers might also be a higher stage that origin core 4.
Over all he was a mess, and he was hungry, if he had a chance to bath too he would be happy enough to not mind being put into prison. While if you wanted to you didn't have to eat food and could instead circulate your SP once you reach origin core formation stage 1 which he was about to break through, he was still in stage 5 so his need to eat was like a normal person.
