Wu Yun looks away as Mo Lian severs Xin Liqin's hand.
Lan Tian takes one of Wu Yun's hands in his, and to his surprise, Wan Mi takes the other.
It's done in less than a second.
Xin Liqin doesn't scream, but after Mo Lian pulls the sword away, he hides his face in Qiao Xiaojian's chest and sobs uncontrollably.
She rips off a panel of her clean inner robe and wraps it around the end of Xin Liqin's wrist.
"The heated blade cauterized the wound, so he won't bleed out, but he still needs medical attention," she says, approaching Wu Yun and Lan Tian, her eyes downcast.
There is only one place where Wu Yun knows Xin Liqin will be taken care of.
"Kunlun. You must take him to Kunlun," he says.
Mo Lian gives him a confused look. "You aren't coming?"
In any other circumstance Wu Yun would, but after what Lian Feng said, he knows they have very little time to get one the weapons before Shu Ai catches up to them.
