As we're running as fast as we can we feel blast waves from attacks hit our backs. After several minutes of running we get to a large gate. Raycar looks at me.
"Past this gate, that's the open world of heaven. Where spirits of animals roam."
He says.
"We have to get through here."
I clutch my sword and lift it over my head. As I start to swing a blast of energy hits several feet above our heads, and knocks a hole through the gate. We turn around and see Yokun throwing god around and blasting energy blast everywhere.
"Remind me to never ever piss off Yokun."
I mumble quietly.
"Noted."
Raycar replies. We jump through the gate, and after several minutes of running through dense woods and forests, we find a nice spot with several trees that arch perfectly to make a small hut. We lay Aziria and Vic down under the trees and sit next to them.
"Raycar, how are they still asleep."
I ask. He turns to me.
"Shortly after you got knocked out we woke up. We woke up as a guy was taking you through a portal. He saw us and several other guys ran through the portal and knocked us out."
He says softly.
"Oh."
I reply with a mumble. He stares at me.
"It's not suprise that we are attracting hunters though."
Raycar grumbles.
"Attracting hunters?"
I ask. He frowns.
"Yea, remember when God said you were attracting good and bad attention? The bad attention was hunters. We're quickly gaining a bounty, since we're killing some top notch demons....and we challenged satan, which got us noticed."
He says as he looks at Aziria.
"And on top of that, we already had Aziria and Yokun go into their darkside forms. Any hunter would kill for the opportunity to fight a darkside."
We hear a explosion way off in the distance. Raycar sighs.
"Damn, Yokun's darkside is gonna destroy heaven at this rate."
"Ugh, my head hurts."
We look behind us and see Vic sitting up. She suddenly jolts her eyes open.
"I feel darkness, and alot of it. It's Yokun, isn't it?"
She says as I look at Raycar and he looks at me. We look back at her.
"Yea, how did you know?"
Raycar asks. She sighs.
"I trained him. He's an angel, but his energy is dark. This is very bad."
Vic says as she stands up. Raycar also stands up.
"Yea, cause Yokun is gonna destroy heaven."
Raycar says. Vic looks at him.
"No, you don't understand...this much power...it's gonna lure Velon here, or maybe even more Hunters."
She almost growls, still upset with Velon.
Velon!? Are you kidding? I doubt he could even touch Yokun right now.
I think as I stare at Vic.
"Raycar, Kai, stay here and watch Aziria. I'm goin back to the city."
Vic says. Raycar sits next to Aziria.
"Your funeral."
He mumbles. I grab her shoulder and speak up.
"I'm goin with you, Vic."
She sighs then nods, and we start running back towards the city.
I can still hear them fighting.
I think, explosions still ringing off in the city. After several minutes we arrive back at the gate. We jump through the gate and see most of the city is leveled.
"So much destruction."
Vic hisses. We see Yokun stomping on God's head off in the distance. Yokun suddenly turns toward us. Energy gathers in his palm as he points the energy toward us. Vic summons Evanesa quickly and closes her eyes. As Yokun blasts the energy toward us Vic points Evanesa toward the blast and shouts.
"TO DUST!"
As she shouts her blade shoots out black flame that collides with Yokun's energy. Vic's black flames are equalling the amount of energy Yokun blasted to us. Her flames go around the energy and stops Yokun's attack. As her fire vanishes I see her gasping for air and he nose is bleeding.
"I... might have just..pushed myself to much."
She says as she collapses.
"VIC!"
I yell, catching her when she falls. As I look up I see Yokun running toward us with the intent to kill. I lay Vic down and ready my blade.
I have to stop him, I can't let him get to Vic. But, if Vic couldn't beat him, can I?
I think as I narrow my gaze on Yokun. He jumps up and swings as me. I block with my sword but he knocks my sword from my hands. The shockwave from him hitting my sword knocks me to the ground and leaves a stinging sensation on my palms. Yokun swings at me. I hold up my arms, hoping to block. Before his blade hit me, I close my eyes and ready for the impact.
Suddenly, I hear Yokun scream. I jolt my eyes open to see Yokun pinned to the ground with a sword in his shoulder. I quickly stand up a man lands in front of me.
"Did you miss me?"
He says. As he turns around I see it's Zen Haraku. I stare at him. He smiles.
"He wasn't paying attention to anyone but you so I nailed him."
He says.
"Y-yokun"
I hear behind me. As I turn around I see Aziria being carried by Raycar.
"Dude! Vic said watch Aziria!"
I yell, Raycar laughs nervously.
"How can I not watch her? She wouldn't stop saying to bring her to see Yokun, so here we are."
Raycar grumbles. Aziria gets off of Raycar's back and walks toward Yokun. Yokun rips the blade out of his shoulder and tosses it to the side. He starts to swing at us, but Aziria stands in front of us. He stops his claws inches from her face. He lightly places his hand on her face as his bone armor crumbles away. Raycar pats my shoulder.
"Do you have that tag I gave you for your birthday?"
He asks. I think for a moment then reach into my pocket. I pull out the transportation tag and hand it to him. He smiles.
"We're getting out of here, before hunters show up, and before that God gets up."
"Leaving?"
We hear behind us. We turn around and see god standing up. All but 1 wing is ripped off and he's bleeding from the corner of his mouth.
"Well, I was informed during that atrocious battle that one of your friends is currently getting ready to take over Hell."
He says as he pops his neck, healing instantly back to perfect health.
"Now please, never come back, I gotta fix my city."
As God says that, Yokun passes out from exhaustion. Before any of us can reply, Raycar puts the tag on the ground and we all appear back in the woods where we were before we went to heaven. Yokun and Vic are unconcious on the ground. Raycar looks at me.
"Kai, we need to go to hell later."
He says. I nod.
One of my friends is leading a siege on hell, huh? I wonder which one.
I think, looking towards the deep blue sky.
