I quickly swing my sword sideways towards Zero, hitting him and sending him flying. The shockwave levels the area around me and kicks up a large wave of dust. Debris from the trees and rocks fall all around.
"[Telekinesis 5]."
I use it on myself and float off the ground. I look around and see the woods beside us are scarred and ripped apart. The landscape almost completely changing. In the blink of an eye, the dust gets blown away. I see Zero walking on air towards me.
"That was a pretty good hit, but it would still be unfair if I fought back."
I see he has some dirt on his clothes and a small cut on his mask.
I have a chance! I can hurt him!
[27 Seconds Until Buffs Wear Off]
I [Teleport] to him once more and strike him with everything I have. He gets launched back about a mile, but instantly appears next to me. I strike him over and over again, but it seems to only slightly cut him.
"Damnit! Why won't you just die!"
I scream, seeing his mask slightly chipped around his right eye. As a part of the mask falls out, I see his are dark green. A small streak of blood rolls down his eye as I lunge towards him once more.
"I can't quite explain it."
He mumbles as I strike him again, sending him to the ground and crushing it. He stands up from the ground and floats back up to me. A few stray hairs coming from behind his mask, white as snow.
"You remind me of how one of my friends was for a while, long ago."
He says quietly as he clenches his fist.
"I will accomplish my goal."
He says proudly as he instantly heals, his clothes and mask instantaneously mending and returning to perfect condition.
"This has re-sparked my mission, thank you Dante. I'll be seeing you around, when you get stronger."
He says as he throws up a peace sign again with his right hand and teleports away. I grit my teeth and undo my buffs and fall to the ground. I hear footsteps running towards me. As I look over, I see my friends staring concerned toward me.
"Dante!"
Vex yells as they all run towards me, getting to me in less than a second. I see Elith behind me, watching closely. As everyone reaches me, they look at my torn up clothes.
I stumble forward and smile.
"Well, at least I didn't die."
I say jokingly as I feel a heavy wave of exhaustion. Elith speaks up.
"You used [Demon Extricate]. I wasn't sure if you were the one for me, but seeing that ability from someone not in our guild proves it. Rest, that ability takes a heavy toll on the body."
She says as I collapse into everyone's arms.
Zero, he's strong.
I flow through dreams and memories in my head, but everything seems blurry. Memories of my family seem, distant. I struggle to remember basic things, like my father's face or mother's voice. As I feel as though I'm about to remember, I jolt awake in a strange bed. It's firm, and the walls around me are plain.
"Where am I."
I whisper to myself as I roll out of bed. I see my gear and a fresh set of clothes on a small table next to the bed. I quickly throw on the clothes and get my gear ready. As I walk passed, I pat the bed post. It shatters and explodes into wood fragments against the wall.
"Shit, forgot about my strength."
I mumble as I slowly open the door to exit the room. As the door opens, I see Azeroth staring at me.
"What was that?"
He asks as I look at the bed post.
"Didn't realize the post was that weak."
I mumble as Azeroth laughs and waves for me to follow him. We walk through a hallway into a large dining room. I see the people from that strong group sitting next to my guild.
"Ah, Dante! Come on, we're just relaxing."
Warren says as he taps his cup to the large man's cup.
He said his name was Entren, right?
I think as I walk over to the table. As I sit down, Vex scoots next to me.
"Sleep well?"
He asks jokingly as I nod. I look to him and speak up.
"How did you guys find me?"
I ask as everyone looks to me. Blankk speaks up.
"Well we saw, felt, and heard fighting. Massive explosions and shockwaves, it was almost guaranteed to have you there."
He says while drinking more. Elith sits in silence, staring at me. I see 6 people in their guild. Entren stands up.
"Since our leader doesn't want to introduce us all, I'll do the honors."
He says while standing behind his guild mates.
"From strongest to weakest: Our leader, Elith Lucifer. I'm second in command, Entren Basisk. Next is Valera Mosix. The boy in the cloak is Raskira. Our assassin, Kurosaxa Maline. And finally our local psycho, Mariana."
He says as I stare at them. I speak up.
"I don't remember asking."
I say coldly as Entren laughs.
"Yea, but it'd be rude not to introduce ourselves now."
He says as I glare at him.
"I think it's rude to randomly attack people."
I reply while glaring at Mariana. She waves cheerfully and looks at Raskira.
"He's talking about me!"
Raskira sighs and lays his head down on the table. Vex speaks up.
"So what do you want with us, or more directly, Dante?"
Vex asks as Elith looks to him.
"Well, to be straightforward, I wish to mate with him."
An awkward silence fills the room as Warren slowly sits forward.
"So you're saying you want to fuck? Got it."
He says jokingly. I sigh and stand up.
"Waste of time. Come on guys, let's find a quest or something. The boredom is starting to kick in."
I mumble as I start walking towards the exit. Elith speaks up.
"Oh? What happened to wanting to kill me?"
She asks as I stop.
"I don't know, right now I feel pretty calm. Oddly calm, if I'm being honest."
I walk outside and stare at the birds and trees around me.
What is wrong with me? No joy or anger. Why do I feel so lost, so emotionless?
I pop my neck.
"And what purpose do I now have?"
