The very next morning, Lukas received a call from the police saying they found Timothy's aunt and she would like to take care of him (Timothy). Lukas notified them that he will be able to drop him off in a few hours.
Mika woke up as soon as the phone rang and went downstairs.
"What was the call about? It's so early." Mika sat beside Lukas and leaned on him. She is so grateful Lukas is still alive ever since that incident as she was afraid of losing him.
"The police just called and asked us to bring Timothy to his Aunt's place in a few hours. We should get ready soon, it's still kind of far from here. I'll let David know and he will pick us up." Lukas replied and Mika immediately got up, "I have to wake up Timothy now. I'll be right back."
An hour later, they got ready and were set to leave for Jiaxing (Prefecture city in Zhejiang province) which was around 1 to 2 hours drive from Shanghai. David and Lukas were sitting in the front while Mika and Timothy sat behind them.
"Do you want to eat this red bean paste bun? It's tastes good." Mika asked Timothy and he nodded. He ate it happily and Mika told him that they were dropping him off in his aunt's place. Timothy didn't really care since he had the bun. It was enough to satisfy him.
"Thanks, David. These buns are great. Lukas, do you want one?" Mika asked but Lukas shook his head, "It's fine since you like it, you can eat my share." Lukas' appetite was decreasing again especially after medication. Mika was worried since he wasn't eating much at all for the past few days. She was thinking about what Dr. Karl said before, she wanted to save him but she needed to convince Lukas to go to the hospital.
"Lukas, if you don't feel well. Remember to tell us." Mika told him and he nodded, "No worries, I will tell you." Mika finished her share and told Timothy, "I'll give this bun to you. Open them when you go to your aunt's place. " Mika smiled at Timothy and thought about what will it be like to have Lukas' child. Mika shook her head, she needs to help Lukas first before thinking of having a child.
When they arrived in Jiaxing, David called Timothy's aunt to verify the address. Finally, they've arrived at Timothy's aunt's apartment building. His aunt was waiting for Timothy in the lobby, when she saw Timothy, she immediately hugged him.
"Thank you so much, thank you so much! He's my sister's son. I'm so happy, he's safe. Thank you so much!" His aunt was so grateful and bowed at least three times.
"Oh, Auntie... it's okay. You don't have to do this, we just helped a bit. I'm Mika and this is my husband, Lukas and that is David, his secretary." Mika introduced them to his aunt. His aunt was looking at Lukas' feature, "Your husband is really handsome. I think I've seen him in newspapers and magazines... is he CEO O'Connor?" Mika nodded, "You have great memory! Yes, he is." The aunt bowed down again, "Thank you, again. Oh, and please accept this as a gift. It's ginseng. My husband brought it back from a business trip. I hope you guys can accept them. It's very good for the body." Mika gratefully accepted it, "We should thank you, too. Unfortunately we didn't bring anything..." Then Lukas stepped in, "This is company's gift to you, please accept the check. You will needed to raise a child."
Timothy's aunt was so grateful that she cried, "I... I really... didn't know how to thank you guys. But, I cannot accept the money. I really can't. Thank you for the offer." She sniffled but Mika hand it again to her and said, "Keep it, it's our gift. You can use it or save it." Timothy's aunt finally nodded, "Thank you, thank you... We'll go back, now. Be careful while you drive back." Mika and the others nodded and headed back out.
"Ah, I'm glad Timothy found his relatives. Aren't you, Lukas?" Lukas nodded and suddenly felt dizzy again, he grabbed onto Mika and she turned around, "Lukas? Are you feeling dizzy again? David, can you help me bring Lukas to the back seat? I think the heat is getting to him" David supported Lukas and helped him to get inside the car.
"Thank you, David." David signaled her an okay afterward, "No problem."
On their way back, Lukas leaned against Mika's shoulder and his dizziness subsided. He was still feeling fatigued so he decided to nap instead.
Few hours later, they are finally back to their house. Since it was weekend, they can finally rest for the day. Lukas was feeling better but Mika still asked him to go to bed. She made some simple lunch and brought it up to Lukas.
"Your favorite. Here you go." Mika smiled and looked at Lukas as he ate slowly, "Thank you, Mika. This is great. I feel like I'm getting my energy back." Lukas smiled at her gently.
"I'm glad, take your time. I'll head down and get some of the work done." Mika said as she got up but Lukas grabbed her wrist, "Can you stay?" Lukas asked Mika since he missed spending alone time with her. Mika nodded, "Anything you need?" Lukas whispered, "I want you."
Mika smiled and embraced him, "I want you, too but you need to get better. Why don't we go to the hospital to get your treatment? I'll be with you. You don't need to be afraid."
Lukas was silent for while then nodded, "Okay, let's call Dr. Karl tomorrow." Mika was shocked at his quick reply, "I didn't expect your quick reply." Lukas looked at her, "Since you'll be with me, I'll try not to be afraid." Mika nodded and smiled, "I'll stay with you as long as you need me."
Lukas had another idea, "Now that's out of the way, can we spend few minutes together?" Mika knew what he was going to say, "Not now... after you finish with your treatment. Get some rest now. I'll bring my work to bed, wait for me." Mika looked back at Lukas and smiled.
