The entire room was filled with silence that was sharply broken by the sound of Shyza's scythe after she lost her grip on it. The vibrating screech left me vibrating as well as she slowly placed her hands on her forehead.
"M-Meanie", she sniffled, tears appearing in her candy red eyes.
Sek shrugged, "Consider it a punishment from your elder."
"humph", her cheeks puffed.
Sek grabbed me and moved back, snapping his fingers. A red band of light entangled Shyza causing her to fall onto the ground.
"H-Huh?! What's this!?", she tried her best but couldn't break free.
"A little restraint.", Sek chuckled and touched the ship behind us, opening the cockpit area. Its engine automatically started and Sek took control. "Now be a good girl and take a rest.", the ship withdrew its supports and took to the air as the hatch above us opened.
"W-Wait! I have to give that sword to dad!!", her voice was soon buried by the sound of the flying vehicle's engine.
"Sek.", I called out.
"Heh, thanks to Lykana we were able to take control of the ship.", he smiled.
"How?", I was surprised.
"She was working on gaining access to the building's tech after we left.", Sek pressed a button and suddenly, the ship blended into the sky.
"You came prepared."
"Of course I did.", he waved the tech fuser. "And now that we have this, you should become compatible with the crate key locks."
Just then, Lykana's voice sounded in the cockpit, "Did you get it?"
"Heh, I did", Sek smirked.
"Great! We'll meet in the industrial area at night, near the DeV co. warehouses.", Lykana sounded overjoyed before cutting her connection.
"We'll finally be able to destroy DeV co's major Neo shard stock.", Sek said to himself.
We waited in the air until night time arrived. Sek flew over to the industrial area. Huge ships were parked in large hangars and some were ready to transport cargo. After flying for a while, we landed before a white building with a huge inscription on the front walls "DeV co.". Sek scouted the area using the ship's scanning abilities and was quite surprised.
"Odd, here's no one near here. No guard bots or men.", he switched off the engine. "Oh well, it works just perfect for us."
He picked me up along with the tech fuser and jumped out, carefully watching his surroundings as he walked to the main door.
"Security might be in there.", Sek said to himself with a look of worry.
"I might be able to help with escaping if that happens.", I noticed the moon's waning quarter and said to myself, "I have to start gathering energy now."
Just then, a bright light coming from behind grabbed Sek's attention. He turned back and noticed his car moving in. The doors opened and Lykana got out, walking towards us.
"All the security personel in this area were called to an emergency at one of the hangers. Apparently, one of their ships malfunctioned and was about to explode", Lykana walked up to Sek and hugged him. "You really made it", she smiled.
"O-Ofcourse! Haha!", Sek blushed. "So does that mean no one's in there?"
"Probably", she placed her palm on the huge door. "Even if there are people in there, I doubt that they'd be above three or two in number."
"What about the bots?"
"I got a good virus ready for them", Lykana smirked.
"Cool! So we're good to go!", Sek cracked his knuckles.
"Don't just rush in", she sighed, "Command virus: Unlock.", the doors immediately opened slowly, making Sek tighten his grip on me. I felt his eagerness to complete this objective fade away after his grip loosened.
"There's, no one in there.", Sek said as he and Lykana entered the warehouse. The lights were still on and there were huge crates lined up for export.
"Well this still works for us.", Sek said as they both stopped in the center. "Now we can use the tech fuser and make you look a bit modern.", he stared at me and grinned.
"Let me have a look at it.", Lykana reached out her hand.
"Sure", Sek gave it to her and smiled clearly depicting his pride.
"We win.", Lykana said in a low tone.
"Yeah! They'll finally get what they deserve."
Something was a bit off about Lykana. Slowly, she walked back, holding the fuser in her clenched fists.
"Not really, you are the one who'll get what you deserve.", Lykana's voice suddenly changed into a dark one.
"Huh? What do you mean?", Sek seemed a bit confused.
Soon, the lights in the room dimmed and the red outline of a person appeared behind Lykana. She handed the tech fuser over to the person, giving Sek even more confusion.
"What's... going on?", Sek's voice trembled as the person behind Lykana became clear.
"T-That woman from before!", I thought to myself.
"Hey.", Sek's voice trembled even more and his eyes displayed a hint of anger as he stared at the woman. "Lykana, what's the meaning of this!?"
