"Believe me when I say this but even I couldn't stand faking my love for you.", a yellow DeV mecha suit to the shape of her body and engulfed her as she spoke. "I was with DeV co the entire time."
"So that was why that woman behind her stopped the search.", I thought to myself.
"B-But why?", Sek struggled to but words together as sweat ran down his face.
"It's simple, to help fulfill the goal of DeV co, to promote the well being of every living being."
"How are they promoting the well being of everyone if all they do is cause violence!!", Sek was furious but he tried his best to hold his anger back, to help the one he had feelings for come to her senses.
Lykana sighed,"I- didn't want it to be like this, Sek.", she snapped her fingers and suddenly, about seven crates in the warehouse transformed into spider-shaped mechs. They creeped closer, surrounding us. Their single red eyes locked on at us coldly.
"So, you're willing to kill me?", Sek's voice got lower and there was brief silence. "Do it then, Kill me."
"S-Sek! What are you doing!?", I tried getting him to stop and run but he just stood there.
"I'll kill you then, since you asked for it.", she rose her right hand up ready to snap a command but she hesitated.
"You are to kill him and retrieve the sword before returning to base", the woman in the red snake's eye mecha suit whispered to her in an intimidating tone.
"I know that.", she forced herself to stare coldly into Sek's eyes. Sek exchanged a stare making Lykana shudder and slowly put down her hand. "I, can't."
"I have no control over these robots. You do. Either you finish the task or face the consequences back in hq.", the woman's voice got colder.
"Predicted, we certainly predicted this.", a deep sounding female voice echoed in the room. We all turned to the source of the voice and noticed a woman sitting on a seat, legs crossed on top of the platform that elevated before us. Beside her was the shape of a man who also seemed to be in a blue mecha suit. It was hard to tell how the woman or the man looked like since their upper bodies were hidden in the shadows.
Lykana and the woman with her bowed their heads in respect. "Ma'am", they said with firm voices.
"Lykana. Do you plan on wasting your goals on an impudent boy?", the respected woman sternly said.
"N-No. I can't bring myself to kill.", Lykana's voice shook.
The woman above her looked down on Lykana, "I see, I shall not force it on you then.", she kept silent for a while. "Dela."
"Ma'am", the woman in the red mecha suit responded.
"I'm placing the command over these mechs to you. Kill the boy.", she commanded coldly.
Dela nodded and turned back to face us, lifting her right hand.
"'Dela'... this woman, is Eʋe?", I thought to myself shocked. "But even if she is, it depends on if she belongs to the blue night clan. If she does, she might have the power to remove my inner form."
"Lykana", Sek called out.
Lykana turned back at him with a slight smile of relief, "At least I won't be the one to kill you.", she sighed heavily, "I was worried that I'd go against my parent's moral teachings."
"W-What?", Sek was shocked.
"Tch! Stop acting like I'd change my mind! I chose to betray the alliance a long time ago! I never had feelings for you!! ... and I never will.", Lykana composed herself into a calm state and redrew her slight smile. "At least, accept this death for your fake feelings."
Sek remained silent. The shock from Lykana's sudden change was simply too much for him. He gripped me tightly, clenching his teeth.
Dela snapped her fingers, ordering the spider bots to charge their arms. The sound of increasing energy came together from all the mechs, creating a great chorus of impending doom as their red eyed lights brightened every second.
"S-Sek!!", I tried screaming into his mind but he wasn't here with us. He was sonewhere else. "Sek-", I was cut off by a dark, negative energy that surged into me. It- wasn't normal. It was foreign and I had never felt this before. Anger and pain slowly flowed into me. "Sek, what's this?!"
His breathing got heavier as he slowly raised his head, revealing the sharp change in his eyes. The piercing blood red colour shone with the intent of killing more than those of the mechs that were ready to kill us.
There was a silence clearly depicting shock that engulfed the entire warehouse.
"I refuse to believe it.", an aggressive force of energy burst out of me, surrounding Sek and forming a shield layer. The power that left me was mine, my power. "S-Sek! How did you!!", my power only kept leaking and not only mine. He was absorbing additional power from the moon.
"That boy is from the planet Celladonia?!", Dela stepped back.
"Tch! I forgot!!", Lykana also walked back.
"He transferred his wolf gene into the sword? such a rare case. I heard of the celladonians that passed down the power of alien wolves to their successors.", the woman spoke. "...And we get to see its power. Dzinu isn't the only legendary container for the moon's power interesting."
"Of all times!!", Lykana cursed.
"I will NEVER, believe that what I felt for you was fake and... WAS WRONG!!", Sek released the condensed power, immediately causing every single piece of tech in the perimeter to shut down. Thus leaving us in the darkness of the calm night.
