Clara arrived at Haran in afternoon. She was in dilemma whether to go library or not. After pondering for a moment, she decided to not go there considering the time she need to walk there and the time when library closed. She was in dazed state when someone tap her shoulder.
'Please not another pest this time' Clara silently wish. She turned her head only to find a young woman lowers her head in embarrassment.
Clara breathed of relief seeing its a woman who tap her. Clara with a questioning gaze asked the woman "Whats wrong?"
"Umm..Sister." She nervously fiddled with her fingers. Seeing the nervous state on the woman before her, Clara worriedly asked. "What's wrong? Are you getting lost or something?"
The young woman shooked her head swiftly. "No,no, Sister. Actually, i was losing at the truth or dare game with my friends. They dare me to ask a strangers to join our little group adventure. Are you interested about it big sister?" She asked with a hopeful evident on her eyes.
Clara nodded at her request after thinking for a moment, its not like she had any works to do anyway. The face of young woman before her immediately brightened up hearing Clara replies.
"Thank you sister! My name is Anna Lim. You can call me Anna" She introducing herself while forwarding her right hands forward for a handshake. Clara accepted it "Clara Luwiss, you can call me Clara." Clara replied earning a bright smile from Anna. "Okay sister Clara, let me introduce you to some of my friends." Anna immediately drag Clara away to Anna friends directions. Clara feel a bit uncomfortable at her closeness, but do not have heart to reject her after seeing her happy expression.
Anna dragged Clara to a small park. There sat one young woman and three men. Seeing Anna coming closer, one of the men expression brightened up and flushed suddenly. Seeing this, the young woman face became crumpled then narrowed eyes at Anna coldly. Clara glanced at Anna who seems not knowing about the situation at all. Arriving there, the four of them were staring curiously at Clara making her uncomfortable. Anna immediately stepped forward and block all the gazes throwed over Clara with her body.
"Hey don't make my sister uncomfortable at your stare" Anna yelled with her hand on her hips. Clara blushed at Anna blunt words, although her words are truth but..
One of the man whom appearance looks ordinary stepped forward with his hands raising up in the air as surrender.
"Its not our fault for curious because you brought such a beautiful woman here." He turned his head toward the the man that had been blushed when Anna arrived.
"Right, John?" He asked the man.
John only shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly. He admit that Clara were beautiful, but his eyes only remained in one woman. The man beside John nodded his head and said excitedly. "Yes,yes. She so much beautiful than the woman i ever met."
The man whom appearance look ordinary rolled his eyes at his remarks "I'm not asking you Blake." He immediately turned his gaze toward Clara and scratched his head embarrasedly "I'm sorry if us making you uncomfortable." Clara shakes her head before answered "Its alright.". Seeing the woman in front of him not minding that, he immediately stretched his hand "I'm Ryan." Clara accepted it and shook his hand "I'm Clara." Ryan sigh a relief seeing the woman in front of him accepted his hand. He knew just by one glance that Clara was feeling uncomfortable at their staring before. So, seeing her accepted and shaking his hand brought a relief to poor man heart.
He turned his head to another two man and introduced them to Clara. Ryan pointing at the man who can be considered as the most handsome on three of them. He also the man who blushed when Anna coming. "You can just call him John." Clara nodded at the man as a greeting and the man nodded back at her. Ryan then pointed to another man beside John. "His name ummm..Nevermind you don't need to know his name" He speak nonchanantly earning a laugh from Anna and frown from Blake.
"Hey how can you just talk about me like that!" He yelled furiously at Ryan. Then smiled sweetly toward Clara "Don't listen to him sister Clara, my name is Blake.". Clara waved her right hands toward Blake earning a blush from him.
'Why men nowadays get blush easily' Clara silently thought.
Ryan ignoring Blake and pointing at the woman who silently watching them. "You can call her Dayna" Clara nodded at her while Dayna only staring silently at Clara without any intention to greet Clara back or something. Seeing this Anna snapped at Dayna "Hey,atleast greet her back." Dayna only snorted at Anna making her more furious.
"You!" Clara immediately held Anna shoulder to stop her from stepping forward. She didn't want any trouble because of such a simple matter. Anna gritted her teeth and turned her head apologetically at Clara.
"I'm sorry on my friends behalf sister Clara." She bowed slightly.
"Why are you apologizing. I'm not that petty." Clara didn't know whether to laugh or cry seeing how pure the girl in front of her. She immediately straighten Anna body up.
Ryan immediately joined to ease the tense atmosphere " Yes,yes. Why are you apologizing, Anna. Look, you made sister Clara uncomfortable by your behaviour." Anna lowered her head in embarrasment. Clara then decided to change the topic. "So what little adventure you all have been talking about?" Ryan eyes lit up at her question.
