Running with all their might, finally the group stopped at the near river. All of them were catching their breath after running like a madman. Clara also slightly panting after such a crazy run. After stabilizing their breath, the first person who break the silence was Ryan.
"Did you all think we have successfully escaped from that person?" Ryan asked the four of them. The person Ryan referring to was definitely the creepy person they encountered earlier.
"Yes for sure. We already run away from him for quite far away. I don't think he'll start chasing us again." Blake replied. Despite saying that, Blake palm were covered in cold sweat showing his nervous state.
Then the silence continued until Dayna couldn't stand it anymore.
"So what should we do now??" Dayna turned to the two boys, only to find both of them were quiet and nervous.
"Useless piece of shit!" Dayna muttered in low voice but loud enough to be heard by Blake and Ryan. Blake and Ryan turned simultaneously toward her with a furious expression. Blake as the most tempered person stepped forward while furiously yelled "WHAT DID YOU SAY??" Ryan though angry but still hold Blake shoulders to stop him from going any further. Anna also tries to drag Dayna away but her hands got slapped by Dayna, "Don't touch me with your filthy hands Anna. I never liked you and always been."
Anna widened her eyes in shock hearing her words. She knew that Dayna always disliked her, but not to this extent. Anna feel a bit sad and mostly angry. She slapped Dayna face in anger. Dayna could feel a taste of iron inside her mouth and know it must be blood. She spit it out and wiped her mouth off using her right thumb.
"Happy?" Dayna asked then continued "I was being kind toward all of you for John sake. Now he's not here, i'll not pretend about it anymore."
"YOU!" Blake pointed his finger at her furiously.
"Byee~~" Dayna waved her hands in nonchalant manner and walked away from the group.
Clara heaved a sigh. From the first time she saw Dayna, her impression of her was the most bad. She could seen hatred and love in those eyes. Hatred when she saw Anna and another girl like me. Love when John were in front of her.
'Psycho' A sudden thought crossed Clara mind.
Clara patted Anna shoulder and turned toward the boys.
"Did you see in where direction John running?" Blake shrugged his shoulder and raising his head up to Ryan as seems asking to ask his opinion. Ryan placed his fingers over his chin and tries to look at the dark forest. He grow silence for a while before opened his mouth, "We're coming from that direction" He pointed to the direction where Clara and group coming. Then pointed to another direction "I think John is on that direction. But i'm not so sure, so we can't just going there risking our life. Lets just wait for him here." Clara nodded not wanting to argue and directly leaning against one of the trees. Anna hesitated for a bit before following Clara along. The boys were acted like a guards and stayed all night.
At dawn, both the boys were so sleepy and immediately goes to sleep once they seen Clara awake. Clara then glanced at the sleeping Anna and write some message on the ground using her earth magic.
"I'LL BE BACK, DONT WORRY" After that Clara goes directly into direction where John probably might be. She strode off and when the sight of her group were gone, she added a wind magic on her feet to give her more speed. She run swiftly across many trees and her eyes glanced around here and there searching for John traces.
After few minutes of searching and Clara didn't find any John traces, she decided to stop her search and goes back to where her group located. Arriving at her group location, Clara noticed there is additional person there. That person turned around and Clara can see John face. He smiled weirdly at her and greeted her "Hi!".
