"Did you believe me now?" She proudly asked with her eyebrows raised slightly.
"Y-yes...But how??" Lucas finally replied after recovered from his shocked state. How can he not be shocked. His young miss is actually a magician!
"Hehe..The process is not important. What i'm doing just now is to show you my capabilities. I can beat a normal assassin with my own hands. So don't worried too much about my friends being a assassins."
Lucas eyes twitched a little hearing the first of her words, but didn't ask her deeply because everyone have their own secret. Its actually quite good for his young miss to be a magician, because she can atleast can protect herself if he didn't presence at that moment.
He slowly rose up and patted his pants from the dust off. Lucas narrowed his eyes at Clara, "Are you sure that the way of you becoming magician is safe?" Lucas didn't know a lot about magician things, but he knew that such power comes with a price. So, Lucas need to inquire more information regarding that, he didn't want anything bad happen to his young miss.
"Yes. You don't have to worry about it Lucas." She said in relaxed manner.
Lucas nodded at her words and began entering the kitchen to prepare some food while Clara following him from behind.
------------
While munching her food Clara asking Lucas, "So, how's your investigation been doing?"
Lucas placed his teacup and sighed deeply before answering, "There's still no clue about it."
Clara also followed sighing. Because the culprit has not been found, her heart can't calm down. She couldn't help but wonder whether her family is safe or not. Then her minds lit up with an idea.
"Hey Lucas, can you send a message?" Clara asked with hopeful eyes.
"Sure, whom do you want send to?" Lucas replied calmly.
"My parents."
Lucas frowned hearing that. He contemplated for awhile before answered,
"I can do it, but you must not reveal your location at all." Clara eyes lit up with happiness hearing that.
"Its enough! I just need to tell them that i'm doing well now."
"Good, then i'll send the letter tomorrow morning. You can prepare the letter tonight." Clara nodded at his words and begin walking toward her room.
Lucas staring at her back and sighed deeply. He is Lucas. The person who supposed to protect his young miss, yet he got defeated easily with the person he was supposed to protect. He face palmed himself in shame.

A new words appear on the pages.

Reading his answer, Clara felt a slight tug on her heart. She then pouted at him, "Why did you wrote again? I thought you can use a telepathy on me."
Kevin sighed inwardly then write his answer, "Its consuming my mana, though its only a little but who know what will happen in the next moment right? So i should preserve my mana as much as possible."
"But its safe here, you should use your voice instead of writing those words." Clara try to persuade Kevin once again. The real reason she pestering him to use his voice instead of words, because his voice is pleasant to her ears. She couldn't possible saying that to him right? That's why she lying. Clara giggled at her own thought.
"Why are you laughing?" The pleasant voice of Kevin entered Clara ears.
Clara shook her head while happily smiled, "Nothing." Then she rose up from her bed and sat herself on the study desk. Clara is about to take the piece of paper from the desk when she remembered something. She then glanced toward Kevin direction making him shuddered inwardly.
"W-What."
"Hehe Kevin~ Can you please give me a piece of paper??" Clara asked with a cute voice making Kevin trembled slightly.
"No." Kevin replied shortly earning a pout from Clara, "Please! Just one paper. Its also for safety purpose."
"What do you mean?" Kevin replied.

"Fine. But just only one paper!." Clara exclaimed happily and hug Kevin tightly making the latter blushed in embarrassment. She then happily tore one of Kevin pages.
Before Clara tore it, Kevin already casted some protection spell toward the letter. He even added invisible spell to it, as long as the letter not yet arrived toward its destination, it would remain invisible.
Clara first wrote her situation at this time. Then she wrote about her incident and now she's in hiding and cannot reveal her position at all. She also didn't forget to tell how Uncle Kuan and his comrade protect her with all their life.
