Tessa quickly used the bathroom and washed up. She found a pair of shorts that fit better than the sweatpants and a t-shirt from his drawers. She headed downstairs immediately. She looked at a clock on the living room wall that said it was 4:30pm. How long had they slept? Aiden walked in the from door as she was making her way to the kitchen.
"Well that was fast. If you want to relax while I make breakfast go ahead. You can watch some tv, I promise there is no porn on this one" Aiden smiled a little embarrassed and turned to start cooking.
"Can I help you?" Tessa asked, she didn't want to be waited on hand and foot by someone who was kind enough to take her in.
"I'd love some help thank you" Aiden said as they started making their way into the kitchen. He pulled out a cutting board, a knife and some poatoes and onions.
Tessa made quick work of chopping and put them into a pan with some oil to fry. She looked over at Aiden as he cooked bacon and French toast. If this were under different circumstances, I would think Aiden and I would be a good match. As quick as the thought came, it left her head. 'Stop burdening the man, he has already done so much for you' she scolded herself.
"Would you mind frying up some scrambled eggs too? eggs are in the fridge and there are pans on the rack next to the stove" Aiden pointes as he asked her.
She quickly wisked and cooked up the eggs. Soon they were sitting at a table full of food.
"I figured yesterday took a lot out of you so you would want a big meal to give you some energy" Aiden looked in her eyes for a moment and quickly looked away. If tessa wasn't mistaken she couldve swore she seen something in his eyes. A sparkle of some sort? She shook the thought away and began to relive the horror story of last night.
"Okay so I think I'm ready to continue telling you want happened" Tessa looked at Aiden who was hanging on her every word.
"Whenever you're ready, you tell it on your own time in your own way."
Touched by his words, Tessa had some more confidence to continue.
"You've been so kind and amazing to me. The least I can do is explain how I ended up here, or at least what I remember" she took a breath and continued. "So after I found my father I didn't know to do. Call the police? I was the only one in the house with no evidence of anyone breaking in. I was standing there outside of my fathers study, crying and tryibg to think of what I should do when I heard the front door open. 'I knew there was another one in the house. We just wasted so much time looking for her!' I heard the men come back and knew I had to leave. I don't know how they knew that I came back, but they were looking for me now."
