"So we are going to Shanghai for a garden party."
Zhao Ling asked the girls. Smirking at her Zhang Bai replied.
"Yes...and the last time I remember you were in Shanghai a week ago?"
Rolling her eyes at her, Zhao Ling told Lu Fang.
"It's 9 in Bejing, I guess we are going by flight of 12 pm....we will reach Shanghai 3 in afternoon, then we will attend this garden party and then we will stay till tomorrow."
A little blown by the plan, Lu Cong hastily corrected.
"no..no, we are correct till garden party, then we will leave for Bejing at night or Lu Cong will snap me in half."
" No! I am staying in Shanghai, my grandfather is here I am meeting him."
Stating it rather firmly, Zhao Ling turned to see the beautiful morning view and Lu Fang groaned in exasperated mode, Driving rather fast.
As they reached the airport they checked in all the security as they were taken in Lu Cong's private aeroplane. Sitting in plush armchairs and sipping on wine was a best feeling as they toke off towards Shanghai. Sleeping all the way towards Shanghai, Zhao Ling was feeling fresh when they reached Shanghai's airport. Then quickly clambering into Lu Fang's Mercedes Benz, they quickly steered towards the adress.
In the car Zhao Ling quickly called Lu Cong, as he answered her call in second ring she directly said.
"Mr Lu, I have reached Shanghai and I will be staying today, meeting my grandfather tomorrow."
"Lu Fang is staying till tomorrow?"
There was a little interrogative tone in his voice as she answered rather pointedly.
"No, but I am not a small girl and I know Shanghai very well. So I am staying."
"Fine....I will join you in the morning."
Surprised by his answer and a little embarrassed she asked him rather softly.
"Don't you trust me?"
Frowning about her doubting him, made him a little irritated. As he answered irritation clearly in his words as he snapped at her.
"No! I will be meeting my mentor...and bye I have a meeting."
Mentally slapping herself for doubting him, she knew he was upset and they were a new couple away from eachother, how was she going to solve this matter.
She felt a little panic in her body, she felt a little nauseated as she saw the flashbacks of her and Song Chao fighting over Zhao Ning, she living alone in Shanghai. Brushing away all the flashbacks she thought that maybe Shanghai was a bad news. Slumping in her seat she closed her eyes as she saw Lu Cong's attractive eyes staring back at her.
Arriving at a big villa in Shanghai, they were escorted in the back of it.
As they saw a beautiful garden decorated with a big tent and many tables with a beautiful menu.
Many socialite ladies were talking to each other. As soon as the ladies saw Lu Fang walk in, they all walked towards her trying make a conversation with her. Seeing their friend was a lot popular, Zhang Bai and Zhao Ling slipped from the crowd who were admiring Lu Fang.
Talking and laughing the girls came face to face with Zhao Ning.
When Zhao Ning saw Zhao Ling she was shocked but masking her expression, she smirked as she said.
" We meet sister."
"So we meet."
Said Zhao Ling maintaining a smile one her face.
Looking at Zhao Ling, Zhao Ning understood that she was not someone she could easily insult. She had became the beautiful and confident woman she was before Song Chao met her.
Thinking all this things she cautiously asked her.
"So you are staying in Bejing?"
"I have decided to live in Bejing again."
"Come back to our house."
"No! I have got my own place and job Thank you."
Smiling at her words Zhao Ning said.
" Chao would love it, if you to come to our engagement party."
Giving a vile smirk Zhao Ling replied.
"Ofcourse I would love to come."
Hearing this Zhao Ning hugged her as she whispered in Zhao Ling's ears.
"You are my friend if you keep your distance, but if you are here to take whats mine then I will throw you in the hell."
Breaking the embrace Zhao Ling dangerously warned her. Her voice, low and furious as she told her.
"I don't care, and gone were those days when you bullied me....try it today and I will snap you in half."
Frightened by her demeanour Zhao Ning took steps back as Zhang Bai and Zhao Ling left her slightly frightened form.
Sitting in one of the chairs both the best friends were animatedly talking when Lu Fang introduced them to Kim Chunhua. It was her party and she was a successful doctor and her father owned hospitals in Shanghai. When Zhao Ling introduced herself, Kim Chunhua asked her.
"You are the big miss of Zhao family, who left."
nodding Zhao Ling said.
"Yes, it was me."
As the girls were happily conversing, Zhao Ning and Song Chen joined them. As Song Chen told them.
"Zhao Ling was engaged to my brother, but my brother loved her sister, I really felt sad for Zhao Ling."
as she sneered at Zhao Ling, Zhao Ling replied to her more maliciously.
"I never thought your brother will cheat me after 6 years of relationship. Making my sister a mistress."
As soon as she said this everyone was shocked as they rooted to their spots and looked at everywhere but Zhao Ning.
