In their second round, Lu Cong was rough as he they climaxed Zhao Ling passed out on the bed, looking at her exhausted form Lu Cong immediately carried her in the bathroom as he kept her in the hot water jacuzzi, as soon as her body emerged in water she winced.
Looking at her wincing Lu Cong felt a pang in his heart, joining her in the Jacuzzi, he cleaned her as she kept her head on his chest, she was barely able to open her eyes as she saw him fussing over her, looking if she was hurt. Smiling she placed a kiss on his lips as he surprisingly looked at her.
shaking his head he lifted her as she hooked her hands around his neck as he dried her body and pulled one of his shirts, making her wear them he lifted her and placed her on the bed as he pulled her on the bed, spooning her and burying his head in her hair, they slept.
Next morning was tough for Zhao Ling as she winced whenever she sat down. Freshing up she changed into a pink blouse and formal black pants. As they were tight at her buttocks, she bit her lip in frustration.
Taking her purse and her keys she planted a kiss on Lu Cong's forehead as he was still sleeping.
Driving in her audi A8 was a real pleasure as she paced her car, on the almost empty road.
Entering her office she sat down wincing once again.
Once again she went through her documents when she received Lu Cong's call, hearing his attractive voice was a real pleasure to her ears as he said.
"Are you okay?"
Grinning at his worried voice she told him in a assured way.
"Mr Lu no need to worry, I am fine."
"Good, come home early, we can go out on dinner."
As he said this, she was stunned but happy as she asked him.
"Only you and me?."
"yes, my love."
Feeling butterflies in her stomach she shyly said her bye and kept the phone.
Her whole day was better after her call from Lu Cong. Her clients were good, and the meetings were successful, so completing all her work, she was leaving when she received a message from Chen Bihua stating that they should meet at the end of the week, for dinner.
Giving her affirmation to the plan she left her office as she steadily drove to her villa. When she entered, no one was in the living room so going into bedroom she saw her bedroom was also empty so walking into study she saw his assistant Lin on the computer and Lu Cong pacing around, as soon as he saw her, he stopped pacing.
Seeing him like this she walked upto him and pulled him into a hug, rubbing his back she asked him.
"What happened?"
"There was a fire in my parents house in New York."
breaking their embrace she clutched his face with her small hands as she tried to soothe him.
"Are they ohkay?"
"yes."
"Are you going?"
"I don't know."
Seeing them like this his assistant left from the study. Seeing him leave she pulled Lu Cong into the seat sitting on his lap she whispered.
"You should go, they might need you."
"I can't leave you alone."
"No you won't, but they need you right now."
"Grandfather left for New York."
"You and Lu Fang should've gone."
Stroking his hair she continued.
"You can't always take care of me and you haven't, you are with me right now but before that I was alone."
Looking in her sadden eyes he told her something which shocked her.
"Listen Tang family wants you back and if I go who will protect you."
Pulling her more closer and Kissinger her on the lips he told her to have some food and sleep.
She knew he didn't want her to see him like this, so leaving him alone and giving some space for herself also, she left so they both could process things.
When she made some noodles for herself, she also made some for Lu Cong. After sometime she thought of going up and seeing him. When she saw him giving instructions loudly on phone, she kept his bowl on table and she herself started eating her noodles sitting in his chair.
After his call he saw his bowl so he started eating, watching him eat, standing on feet, Zhao Ling stood up and pulled him, making him sit in the chair as she sat on his lap again.
As they were eating Lu Cong spoke.
"I may have to go."
"Good."
"I will assign two bodyguards for you....and Lu Fang will stay here with you."
"No! she should be going with you."
Feeling bad that he was so worried about her she assured him, as she continued.
"Listen, no need for you to worry about me, okay....and she should go with you, she is your sister."
Closing his eyes and thinking about a minute he finally said.
"Fine, me and xiao Fang will leave today night and you just take care of yourself...any problem just call me, ohkay?"
Giving him a smile she told him that she was going to pack his bag as she went bouncing to their bedroom.
After packing bags and many instructions from Lu Cong to maids and Zhao Ling, Lu Cong briefly kissed Zhao Ling as he left for airport with his sister, leaving his love Zhao Ling and his assistant for his company.
