~ Third Person's Point of View ~
It's dawn yet everyone is still wide awake including the woman who was saved by Cartlon and Billy.
The princess can see the woman through her peripheral vision. However, she cannot still understand why does Sahara is crying out. She then looked back at the young woman and asked her, "Sahara? Did I do something wrong for you to cry like that?"
Alice knows nothing. She can't even be remembered that she had a nightmare a few seconds ago.
Sahara turned her back and faced the princess with swollen eyes and wet face. She wiped her tears away and replied in a low tone, "I am fine your majesty. And, you haven't done anything that could hurt my feelings. Although, I am too afraid and worried that you will not be able to go back home."
Alice replied, "Too afraid and worried? What do you mean by that?"
The princess gets off from the bed where she was lying. She then stood up and wait for Sahara's response.
However, Cartlon meddles in and he's the one who will decipher everything. He said, "Alice, you had a nightmare earlier ago. All of us are hopeless because we did everything for you to wake up but still, we failed. Until such Sahara whispered something twice into your ears."
The princess looked around and went to the small windows. She said, "I thought I was in the middle of a dark forest. And, there's a zombie whom I fought with!"
Alice looked back again to Cartlon and tried to see Billy. She asked, "Where is Billy? And, who's is she?"
Cartlon replied, "Billy get something from the kitchen and I saved her from the undead. We saved her to be certain, your majesty."
Luckily, Billy showed up while carrying a cup of water. Alice said, "I've been looking for you, Billy! I thought there's something bad happened you!"
The princess immediately walked towards Billy and touched his face. Alice checked his body if he got bruises and or scrapes. Billy said, "There's nothing bad happened, your majesty! I am fine and Cartlon too. We killed all of them and saved her."
The young man pointed out the woman who's eating potatoes like there's no tomorrow. She must be too hungry and thirsty.
Alice sighed deeply and she said, "I followed you into the forest! But what I'm doing here? Why I am sleeping instead of helping my people to redeem and to safeguard each and everyone!"
Billy said, "It was just a dream, your majesty. I and Cartlon went quickly to the forest when he heard a woman who's in need. Th–"
"I followed you! I am certain and confident, Billy! I've tried to find you and Cartlon but I saw a zombie along the way! Why does all of you doesn't believe in me?" Alice touched her chest while walking back and forth.
Even Cartlon cannot understand what she's referring to. He said, "You have to calm down, Alice. It wasn't true and the only thing that matters is your here and you awaken now! For heaven's sake, a nightmare can take your life away!"
From that moment, realization hits the princess. She was hen starstruck upon hearing the truths that if she did not wake up, there's a big chance for her to be dead.
Alice covered her face hysterically and replied, "Does it mean that I was sleeping all along while the two of you are in the forest?! Does it mean that I did not encountered also the infected prince?"
Sahara, Billy and Cartlon shook their head as they faced Alice who is indeed looking shocked and stupefied.
Out of nowhere, the woman abruptly out the cup of water and said, "It was not a nightmare nor a coincidence, Princess Alice. It was all written on the prophecy that you and the infected prince shall be met, one day."
Cartlon raised his eyebrows and replied, "How did you know about the prophecy?"
The woman answered, "Everyone knows about the prophecy. And I know that you are looking for someone who can help all of us to uncover the mages."
Everyone cannot believe what they've heard from her. Alice asked, "Speak everything that you know!"
The woman was about to answer when swordsman replied, "Please do rest now, your majesty. We can ask her hereafter and we should take a nap to regain our strength."
Sahara added, "He's right, your majesty."
It was simple yet Alice was easily convinced by Sahara's sweet and soft voice. She can't either perceive why she would always feel relaxed and pleased every time she can see Sahara.
With a short statement, Billy silently walked closer to the woman. Forgetting that he's still holding a cup of water because the woman asked for more of it.
The old woman said, "I felt a strong connection between you and Princess Alice."
She glances at Sahara and Alice like she knows both of them. While Cartlon and Billy are looking at each other too. Billy replied, "Perhaps, it's time for us to sleep and have some rest."
Billy can sense it too as she looks intently into Sahara and Princess Alice's eyes. It seems like they both agree to a particular thing without making an effort.
On the other side, Cartlon inhaled as he acknowledged Billy's utterances. He believes that the woman said those words maybe because of what happened to her.
It was hard for her to forget her unforgettable memories especially when zombies tried to nibble her. Good thing that Billy and Cartlon helped and saved her.
Cartlon and Billy helped the woman to lay down gently. She must be wearied and worn on because of the trauma.
Also as the princess watches them, she slowly came back to reality. She wholeheartedly accepted that everything that she was saying is only part of her nightmare.
She then ordered, "Sahara, Billy, go to sleep for now!"
Upon saying it, Alice leaned closer to Cartlon and told him something. She said, "Act that you are sleeping but as soon as they are snoring and dreaming, wake up 'cause I have something to discuss with you."
Swordsman holds his breath for a moment. He was clueless about why Alice suddenly talked to her.
He then replied, "Aye, your majesty!"
