~ Third Person's Point of View ~
Elizabeth prepared foods for the three of them. While Billy and Sahara are talking something about.
Their voices were very low that is harder to be heard by Elizabeth. Billy was murmuring about the woman who was saved by him and Cartlon last night.
He leaned closer to the young woman and said, "Sahara, I felt something odd towards her! It seems like she's a sentinel of the traitors!"
Billy was murmuring while gnawing the warm potato. His eyes were stuck with Sahara's eyes but she was trying to about his meaningful gaze.
She replied, "Billy! Have you forgotten what the elders would always come out from their weak and shivering mouth?" Sahara pinched his nose like she used to do it with her little sister.
Billy tried to get rid of Sahara's hands but the young woman was too persistent. She said, "Stop thinking malicious aspects towards Elizabeth. Look at her Billy, she seems kind and a trustworthy person!"
Sahara turned her gaze at the woman who's chewing some of the potatoes until Elizabeth catches her staring. She gulped and said in an uneasy way, "Eat more, Eli! It can help you to regain your strength and vigour."
A short smile plastered on the young woman's face. It was indeed an embarrassing moment that was happened in her entire life.
Sahara stared at Billy who's currently drinking the cup of hot tea. She whispered, "Let's just eat and wait for Princess Alice and Cartlon to come back with a fortunate information for all of us!"
Billy replied, "Aye, your majesty!"
He knelt down and bowed his head like he used to commend it in front of Princess Alice.
On the other hand, Sahara rolled her round eyes at him and exclaimed, "Don't do it again in front of other people! They might think that I belong to the royal families of Alicesha. We shall not put the name and reputation of the royal families in and risk and in vain."
Out of their knowledge, Elizabeth is listening to Sahara's words while finishing to eat. She then smiled upon realizing that she used to listen to the Queen back then.
She said, "I used to hear that kind of sweet and soothing voice of yours, young woman. I have missed my old friend perhaps because lately, I would always think of her."
Elizabeth stood up and began to get all the used wooden cups and bowls.
Billy replied, "Maybe you did something bad for you to remember her every single day and to feel remorseful like you were trying to speak, at this moment Elizabeth."
The young man gets the cup and walked away from her and Sahara. He needs fresh air to be calm and peaceful again.
However, Sahara looked at Eli and her eyes were saying sorry for what Billy said to her a while ago. She learned closer to Eli, slowly she holds her shoulders while looking intently into her hazel eyes.
She said, "My sincere apology! I have never thought that the young man who helped to save you from the undead is the one who will treat you the other way around. On behalf of Billy, as his friend, I am here to ask for forgiveness Elizabeth. Perhaps, he cannot still understand why did Princess Alice and Cartlon went onto the quest man without informing us first."
Instead of being guilty and hurt. Elizabeth put back all the things she was carrying out and holds Sahara's cold and sweating hands.
She stared at her as if she knows Sahara very well.
She said, "Do not be regretful of all the things that you haven't done yet towards other people. Do not worry about those souls who have hurt the feelings of other people. Sahara, in the land where we are living and standing– there are a lot of people who are evils and are greedy to have power and authority even if it leads them into killing."
Elizabeth paused for a while and grasp her hands gently.
She added, "Let your naked eyes hear what people are saying and use your ears to see what's really happening into our land. Into our homeland that was ruined and ravaged by the undead."
Sahara took a deep and heavily sighed. She replied, "What are you embarking to tell me about? I... I don't understand Elizabeth!"
Without hesitation, Eli leaned closer to Sahara and whispered something into her ears that made the young woman startled and shivered.
She said, "Do you mean that you know what is the truth and who are the traitors?"
Elizabeth covered her mouth and forced her to be quiet. Fortunately, Billy cannot hear them since he was starting at the bright and warm blue sky.
"Lower your voice, young woman! I am the only witness that is still alive and living! And if the higher officials discovered that I am still alive, they would hesitantly behead and kill me. So we must keep our mouth zip until the crown princess came back before the sun sets."
Sahara began to feel nervous and worried. She can't imagine that there are still deserters who are planning to steal the throne from Princess Alice in the midst of an apocalypse.
She closed her fists angrily and replied, "No! They can't win against Princess Alice and no one shall attempt to point their weapons into the ensuing Queen! They must never aim to,
Elizabeth!"
Sahara narrowed her eyes and looked somewhere to ease the madness she felt.
Until she saw something into Elizabeth's hair. She asked, "What is that thing in your hair?"
Sahara walked closer to Elizabeth and tried to get the sharp thing on her hair. However, the woman stopped Shara from getting it.
She replied, "Ohh! It was just a simple hair brooch, young woman! You don't have to touch and check it to be certain."
"Do not worry, I won't do anything against her majesty." Elizabeth bowed and sighed.
Sahara exclaimed, "Your lips are shaking and your hands were sweating, Elizabeth!"
For the first time, Sahara became furious and eager to know who she really is and why she suddenly showed up.
"Who are you? Who is the person who ordered you to be a spy?"
"Please calm down! I am not a spy, young woman."
Instead of trusting Elizabeth, Sahara abruptly grabbed the clip from the woman's hair.
It wasn't a common hair clip because of the stones on it. Its edge was sharp as the polishes bamboo spears and needles.
It's a small deadly weapon after all.
Elizabeth gulped when she saw it from Sahara's hand. She was breathing deeply and heavily. She said, "Give it back to me Sahara."
Her voice was low but there was an emphasis on each word she enunciated.
