Princess Fei Shu ran to her garden and slumped on the flowers. Butterflies flew up into the sky. An amazing sight, but Fei Shu was not bothered to admire the scene. She cried her eyes out, soon the Emperor was going to have to decide whether to give her as a consorts which was more likely. Or go to war.
'What if Father decides to give me out' she thought.' I can still live, it is not a death sentence. It is an opportunity to rule. I can still rule.' Then she stood up and walked to her chamber.
Back at the chamber She Que and Xinjiang were already panicking because they did not see Princess Fei Shu just as they were about to send for the royal guard, they saw Princess Fei Shu approaching. What surprised them the most was that she was smiling.
...Smiling
They ran up to her. "Your Highness, where have you been?" She Que asked. "Making decisions" Princess Fei Shu replied. "I have decided to go with any decision made by Father. Mother was right, if I want to be a fillial daughter and Princess, I should think of the people who have been killed. And more so I am not going there to be a servant. A consort is also powerful." She concluded and went inside.
The two maids now understood their princess was going there to be Head and not Tail,Master and not Slave. Their princess was going to be a strong woman even as consort.
Meanwhile, Emperor Fei Shin was thinking of what to do. He was actually thinking of sending Fei Shu but he couldn't just drop his daughter in a den of wolves and pretend nothing happened.
His adviser saw this and said to him "Your Majesty, you must be thinking of what decision to make. But let me tell you, if you send Princess Fei Shu it will not only save our people but also capture the minds of your subjects. Princess Fei Shu is a strong woman not a weakling. She is a lioness that can't be easily caught. Think about it."
After careful deliberation, the Emperor sent for the royal writer. He then wrote a letter to King Wei Dong Song."Greetings, I have decided to follow your condition and save my people. My daughter,Princess Fei Shu will be given to you in the next two days. I hope you keep your promise and withdraw your men."
After the writer was done the Emperor signed and stamped the letter heavy heartedly. He then told his eunuch to inform the Princess about his decision. He was also going to have a meeting with the ministers. Emperor Fei Shin finally rested. He didn't like his decision but he had to do it for his people. He had to hand over his daughter.
