Chapter 5 - Sad procession

Shengxin kingdom.

The next day, which was the last day Princess Fei Shu had with all of them in the place, the Emperor invited both Princess Fei Shu and her mother to his chamber. On the way, Fei Shu noticed that her mother was in low spirits. But there was nothing she could do to the situation.

When they got to the Emperor's chamber, Princess Fei Shu realised that her elder brother, Fei Zhou was also there waiting for her and her mother. They settled down and they all ate until the Emperor called " Fei Shu "

"Yes Father" Princess Fei Shu replied

"Tomorrow, you will be leaving. My dear daughter, I want you to be strong and don't be sad. Be strong, my dear daughter. Be the leader you have always been." When the Emperor finished, her mother added her word of advice telling her to try and win the heart and trust of the king. She then told her that she was going to give her her maid Lei Ming. Fei shu thanked her mother. The Emperor also assigned one of his most trusted guards, Zhengzhou to her. Her brother also told her to lead.

After the get together, Princess Fei Shu went to her chamber with her new and old servants. She did not sleep has she thought of her future. Her thoughts wandered to being Queen but she shook it off.

She then lay in bed and slept a little hours to morning.

The next day, Princess Fei Shu dressed up in a simple dress and left for the palace gate. Her maids carried her things while Zhengzhou left to go and bring the prepared carriage. She met all of her family, the ministers and maids at the gate. After a round of goodbyes and thanks, Princess Fei Shu got into the carriage and the sad procession began.

At the border only Zhengzhou was allowed to follow her to the her because he was her guard

And then the journey begins....
