Night came faster than expected, the sky was covered with a misty blood red which unsettled the rabbit even more, she just had to get out of here, there was no way she was getting used.
The queen had brought them to the bed and drew the rabbit into her warm arms, so warm.. she turned to face the demon who had a big dumb fanged grin on her face, she needed to focus. She couldnt let her fear overcome her need to escape, she wanted to be back at her village with her momma.
"You have so many facial expressions when you're in deep thought, it's very amusing." The demon let out a soft laugh as she pulled the rabbit even closer to her chest, she was.. so.. warm..
That was the last thought before the rabbit drifted off into sleep, she had been craving, longing for warmth for so long, even momma wasnt this warm. the demon felt like a soft blanket caressing her, keeping her warm and safe.

It was morning... she fell asleep.. no way! she sighed in annoyance to herself and rubbed her eyes to get a clearer look at her surroundings, the queen wasnt in the bed anymore, maybe she could get one of the servants to take her to a garden, do they even have gardens here? or any kind of exit out of this place! She stood up out of the bed and looked around to try and find clothes, that demon really didnt expect her to wear those see through clothes again did she? Suddenly the door opened and she bulked when she saw it was the queen.
"Why the sad face, Chara? You should greet me with a smile on your face as I've brought you some more comfortable clothing" is this demon in her head or something? She walks over and happily takes the thick clothing from the queen and then began looking over it, it was a long blue dress, what's with demons and dresses? Why couldnt she just get something comfy? Something she could relax in? She sighed and walked over to the cupboard where she could get changed, this dress may not be see through but that didnt make it any more comfortable! She fumbled with the dress for a while before realising... it split down her sides! How was this any better!? She held back an annoyed groan as she stepped out.
She walked out and was greeting with a proud looking demon.
"You look fabulous, not that I would expect any less from such a beauty, you could wear a sack and it would still flatter your features." The rabbit blushed at this and kept fumbling with the dress, she really didnt like this..
"Come we have a meeting to go to, little rabbit" whyyy? Why did she need to be a part of these meetings? From what she remembers they were so boring! She sighed as the queen wrapped an arm around her waist and began pulling her along, it'll be another long boring night..
....
"No we should focus on keeping our walls safe from trespassers, that's the third time this week a curious soul has gotten devoured, their own fault but will start a riot for our kind nonetheless. I really cant be bothered gathering the soldier demons for war if a titan kid steps into our realm and we really piss off the big guys"
This argument had been going on for what felt like forever, some random beings of all types have been getting passed the gates wanting to explore and knowing nothing of the horrors that reside in the palace walls, apparently they had all been killed by ruthless demons and chara had to sit and listen to every gory detail which made her want to throw up her dinner which is what got her into her current position, the queen noticed her disgusted face and pulled her onto her lap.. warm.. chara didn't protest as she appreciated the warmth coming from the queen and her throne of flames.
The meeting was finally over and the argument had been settled, they just made the simple decision to put more in control guards outside the gates, all that for nothing.
They were sitting on the bed once again in silence before chara finally decided to ask a question she knew she would dread "what did you mean when you said I'm your new personal slave?"
The queen didn't answer for a while which made the rabbit even more uneasy thinking she offended the demon but when she finally opened her mouth to speak, she didnt like the answer that came from her lips
"It simply means I've taken you as mine, you're.. more special and have more freedom than the other slaves. You'll receive your training once you're used to your surroundings "
The rabbits ears flopped further down as this answer scared her, what kind of training? She didnt want to.. she didnt want to be this demons possession! The queen must have noticed her existential crisis as she ran her claws gently over the rabbits face which instantly pulled her out of her thoughts as her and the demon locked eyes.
"I did say once you're ready, that's a generosity that no one has ever gotten from me, be grateful." Grateful, everytime she does the rabbit a 'kindness' shes always asked to be grateful like the demon thinks shes a saint for giving her a basic right, she won't get devoured by the warmth tonight, she'll wait until the queen is sleeping and ask around for an exit now that she knows there is one, she just hoped, prayed, that she would find one of the dumb ones who would lead the way to her freedom and hope she doesnt run into one of the annoying council.
