Chapter 1 - The new world

The last thing that this group of mis-fits remembered was a horrible sound that shook them to their cores their ears bled and their heads felt as if they were about to explode from the pain but they all knew that to survive this mess that had a VERY short time left in existence.

They stood gritting their teeth and standing tall praying that this damn thing still worked since one of them had to stay behind and set The Destination "DAMN IT" thought Glen "If only that remote had still worked we wouldn't have to leave Julian behind like this" Glen watched in tears as julian was visible inputting commands that he himself didnt understand which was the reason Julian was the one doing it instead of him.

"If only I'd learned those damn runes instead" he whispered through his pain and gritted teeth. No-one heard him however for at that moment their vision went black and they felt as if they were being shredded up into parts so small that they would cast no shadow. As the 7 were sent to their Destination a world far different from their own but if that weren't the case they would have never decided to go so far as to sacrifice one of their own to make it there.

The group of 7 was seen as though appearing out of nowhere although the reality of the situation was that they had each been slowly pieced back together molecule by molecule and at different rates of speed though the first that was "repieced" had an inane sense of where the others were being repieced and decide to try and start anew he found that they had all been positoned in a few kilometers of one another meaning that monitoring their positions until they were "repieced" would be difficult without help.

"what should I do?" he asked herself and after half an hour he decided to simply think of it later as he decided to prioritize his own situation seeing as to how he was in a lightly wooded area with a lush meadow it appeared to be quiet early in this world since the sun was still rising in this world and chris couldn't help but wonder of the time scale of this world the chances of it being the same 24 hour cycle he was used to was incredibly low but he didn't mind a bit of change.

As he surveyed his immediate surroundings he took in the cream colored trees with a silk like substance strung between them and felt strange he couldn't help but get the feeling that he should avoid the silk at all cost he decided to try to get himself situated. Kind of awkwardly he decided that food and water would also be in order since it had been awhile since he had a physical body and he was pretty hungry as a result.

He wandered through the strange woods cautiously and being care ful to avoid the silk until he noticed a sound not to far off"A RIVER!" Chris thought excitedly as he moved towards the sound hap hazardly to try and get himself some water as he left the Trees he was stunned to see something akin to A village with large wooden walls and what appeared to be guards atop these walls.

What stunned him however was not the wall nor the river but it was the guards who appeared to not be human at all but even so they didn't seem new. They differed greatly from what he was used to and he wanted to leave instantly from this place but before he could one of the guards had noticed him and that was when Chris acknowledged why they looked slightly familiar they were insects but they were HUGE any child's nightmare had come to fruition and the insect like monster's rushed towards him their were only two at the moment rushing towards him as he stood still frozen in place as a fear instilled in him since his childhood kicked up causing him to stare and he wanted to scream.

He felt helpless As his eyes took in every hair on the spider creatures legs and back as it scurried towards him with what appeared to be a huge scarab beetle riding it wielding a makeshift spear at an insane speed only attainable by a motor vehicle from his original world before its collapse. He pictured the beast tearing through his insides and eating its fill as it reached him however it seemed to bow it's head as did the other guard although it was riding the huge spider chris couldn't help but feel that it was strange that this was what had sent the most shivers down Chris' spine. Then he heard them speak
