When it spoke It's voice was as coarse as sand "You...You are of the other clan are you not?" Asked the giant spider slowly. Chris could only shake his head as he was terrified of this thing and wished he had gone another direction...any other direction. "why do you fear me" it asked "our clans have made an alliance for now as it is our only chance to survive". Chris retreated a step but was curious as to what this thing was talking about "I have been comatose for a long time" Chris said "I'm lacking all basic knowledge of the world at this time"
If suspicion was a face that these monsters could make they would make it. "our clans have fought many times over the course of centuries is one of those eras all you remember?" Chris shakes his head "I dont remember anything at all I swear" sweating, trembling, and on the verge of tears Chris showed himself to be in a pitiful state one of pure fear and regret yet he continued to hide his truth of how he arrived here, that he wouldn't be the only one, or that there were others like him.
The creature shook it's head and snarled "If you weren't of the other clan I'd have killed you for your weakness but instead I'll have these two take you to the other clan and leave you there that way you won't be our problem anymore." Chris lowered his head and let his tears flow down his face "Thank you" he whispered.
It had already walked out of ear shot of him it was fast with 8 legs. On the way to the "other clan" which he assumed had humans he sat quietly wishing that he would arrive at his destination earlier. He wondered what the difference between him a human of earth and those of this planet would be. He thought maybe he'd arrive at a clan of giants since the bugs grew in size and maybe the humans did the same.
He took in the just barely discolored world he was in and questioned that as well "whats wrong with this world" he thought "even the air seems thicker here yet I can breath just fine" no amount of thinking seemed to be able to answer his question nothing seemed to click. When he arrived at the clan he couldnt help but widen his eyes in disbelief and amazement.
There were people flying as if it was second nature to them however each one was doing it in various ways using different elements to do so from lightning to sand. Chris was stunned "How is this possible?" he muttered as he walked towards the gates of the clan in a stupor. "Hello Sir where have you been that the creature people had to bring you back from?" a person Chris assumed was a guard asked "I was in a coma for a long time...I think... and I found my way to their clan by accident" Chris responded. The assumed guard of the clan gave him a quick look over then asked Chris to show him his elemental so he could point him towards the right residence area "I'm sorry I forgot everything about the world while I was in my coma" the guards face changed to one of sympathy in an instant "you don't know your elemental then?" Chris shook his head "don't worry bud we can have that checked for you by our healers since they ussualy check people to make sure they are given the corresponding procedures and medicine."
Chris couldn't help but wonder if he gets checked for an elemental and doesn't have one what happens? Chris wandered the clan with the guard next to him since if he were alone and somehow others were to learn he didn't know if he had an elemental he might be attacked to satisfy someones sadistic desires "this place here is the best restaurant in town although it's expensive for sure" he said with a look that seemed to say he wished he had enough to eat some right now "That over there to the left is the shopping pavilion it's got just about everything and if you go past that you end up at the challenge square where all the fighting takes place if you go across from the street from that you'll find the smithy he's a kind man but he's very business like and besides the residencies the hospital is the last thing I need to show you" the guard said as he entered into a large building which gave off an aura of cleanliness chris followed after the guard and then went straight to the counter and recounted his story to the receptionist who then gave him a look before going into the back and digging around "um miss receptionist can you guys check my element or not" Chris said earning himself a few glances from the other patrons most apologetic but a few were dark and haunting glares full of killing intent and Chris wasn't new to that feeling seeing as to how his last world was ruined so he returned and his killing intent was suffocating it was an aura that only a person who had gone through a war could carry. Everyone else was instantly scared of Chris "I'll never fear another man" Chris said in an easily heard tone "I found it" said the receptionist suddenly making Chris turn back to the desk again he found himself staring into a mirror and felt his conscience get pulled into it instantly and there he saw something wonderous.
