In this novel, races will not be as simple as calling them Humans, Fallen Angels, Angels, Dragons, etc, and etc.
These races will have an evolution and the power they can gain will depend on where on the Racial Evolution Tree are they. This Racial Evolution Tree pertains to the gradual evolution of a race until they reach the summit of their race's evolution tree.
Each races has four ranks that they can ascend to. Each ranks are further divided into four sub ranks that are simply called as Low Rank, Middle Rank, High Rank and Peak Rank. The first two ranks can be gained through hard work, constantly surpassing your limits. Through the strengthening of your physical body or the mastery over the energy, element, power, or whatever it is called that can be controlled due to your racial traits, you can reach the peak of the second rank of your Racial Evolution Tree.
As you 'rank up' your racial trait becomes more prominent and your energy reserves becomes more vast. Ranking up to the next sub ranks can easily be achieved by gaining a vast amount of energy. BUT, the individual should also have the bare minimum of control in order for them to break through to the next racial rank.
Unlocking his/her potential can be hard if the individual have no control over his energy. At times, there are some who achieved to get a racial rank up after a rigorous training, a lucky encounter, or through a mere coincidence. Races like Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels have the most noticeable change as they rank up in each sub rank while other races change on each sub rank or racial rank can only be noticed through the change in their energy.
When someone reaches the Peak Rank of their second racial evolution, they have to undergo a ritual called the Nirvana Flame Rebirth. One has to bath on the flames of beginning and the end, creation and destruction. They will have to endure the fiery torture that burns their mortal flesh.
It is called Nirvana Flames Trial by those who witnessed it. Feel all the pain, the destruction and reconstruction of every cells in your body. If not, you will be engulfed by the flames and turn into dust in an instant. More than your power or control over your energy, what this trial measures is your spirit or what they call their willpower. "No one deserves to gain more power if they are weak minded", that is the law of the world.
When they rank up to their third racial rank, they will have to go through a stronger and purer version of the Flames of Nirvana. The one they will have go through at first is only the weakest and most impure version of the Flames of Nirvana. Every sub rank that they will attempt to break through will be accompanied by a Nirvana Flames Trial. Only this time, the flames with be purer and stronger than the last one. Gradually, it will turn stronger and much more pure. Until the time where you will have to go through the real Flames of Nirvana.

• Peak Rank(No notable changes except for a higher amount of energy reserves and their energy becoming slightly stronger than their initial one)
Archangel
• Low Rank(4 pair of wings)
• Mid Rank(5 pairs of wings)
• High Rank(6 pairs of wings. The wings and the halo will also turn into golden colored ones. For comparison, High Rank Archangels have the amount of power of a Peak Ultimate Rank powerhouse.)
• Peak Rank(No notable changes except for the higher reserve of energy and the stronger holy power damage to those who holds devil power.)
Cherub
- When Archangels evolve into this racial evolution, they will lose all of their other wings except for one pair of wings. That one pair of wings will have a larger wingspan and a golden color.
• Low Rank(1 pair of wings)
• Mid Rank(2 pairs of wings)
• High Rank(3 pairs of wings)
• Peak Rank(No notable changes except for a higher amount of energy reserves and their energy becoming slightly stronger than their initial one)
Seraphim
- When they reach this stage, their wings will turn into platinum colored, same as their halo. Their holy power is so strong that it could instantly vaporize a 2nd racial rank Devil with just the holy light that he emits.

• Peak Rank(Energy will turn into a blinding platinum white. So as their wings and their halo)
