Calmly he choose wheter this one or that one, wheter he should get one or more and then he stood as if to read the note but deep inside he was contemplating if he wanted to pay for this or not, does this even taste as good as it look.
He put it back as if realizing he doesn't need it at all and pick the food he has been eating for the past in which he knows how it taste and its preparation then he went to the beverage section looking at those bottle of alcohol that is worth more than what he earns.
It was at this moment he realized all the bad choice he had made starting with the bottle of wine and back when he was younger and free from responsibility of being an adult, all the what if surging thru him that prompt him to open the bottle and start reminiscing.
He was young with this thought he felt as if he was a king that could look down on people after finishing high school but he was mistaken. He was very wrong forgoing college to relax, declining offer because he felt that he was already tired of studying continuously for more than a decade.
It was a mistake he can't correct now even his parents thought he has a good future but he throw it away as if it was something he can always stock somewhere and retrieve when he needed it thus it was too late and everything was gone. One moment they were their to show support then they were not and that is the reality of this world that we thought is cruel but it was ourselves who made it cruel as if it owed us something when we did this willingly and openly. A SELF REFLECTED TORTURE you can't escape no matter what you do.
Another sip and he realized he should have gotten beer instead since it was not strong enough to make him forget even for a short while as he look in the ceiling remembering it was still weekdays tomorrow and work start at 8 am....
