Chapter 9 - The Greenlaine Alley

The Pixiestail big living room was filled with chattering. Everyone seems celebrating their membership in the house. The three lad was in the corner, talking with Ellah Tray and her inventions. Well, Pariana was hooked in the topic and the two, Peteriona and Patricia just seated their pretending to be interested in whatever Ellah was saying.

"First years, I nearly forgot to tell. Ellah if you may." Felices spoked

"Ahh yes, wait." Ellah went upstairs and after a moment, she came back wearing her uniform in beneath her black robes. There was a badge on the left; Pixiestail badge.

"So first years, as I was saying. This is your official uniform as a member of the Pixiestail house."

Every first year stare at Ellah in her uniform with great awe. The uniform suited her well.

"You can have this one on Madame Jueivia Boutique, in Greenlaine Alley. You can visit their on this weekend. Any questions?" Felices asked looking extremely sleepy. None questioned her and so she said that 'it's getting late, better be in bed.'

Everyone says 'goodnight' to everybody. And went on each of their bedrooms.

"Goodnight Pete, Goodnight Par." Patricia said and entered on her slumber.

---

Patricia opened her eyes from being close. She sated in her bed looking pale. Her semi-golden hair was very messy, and her blanket have fallen off from her bed. It's still 5:00 AM in her table clock. She got of her feet and peered on the window beside her wardrobe. The view was good from up there, she can see beyond the surrounding thick trees, the Town of Alandrea.

It was 10 years ago when she was still wandering around the town, begging for food. When she was hit by a car, and wake up with a man claiming himself as her grandfather; Thomas Hayes. After being out in the Medical Institute of St. Rita, she lived with her grandfather in a small house located just in the outskirts of the town. The time she have spent with her grandfather was not that much, it was only two weeks then her grandfather sent here to Clairemont School of Wizards for better learning and for a better life the school could offer. The two weeks were enough for her to ask questions about herself and her parents, she have found out they have died a heroic death. They lead the second great magic war or the Golden Rebellion.

The time have passed, and the deep blue sky was now mixed with pale red pastels; the sun was rising on the horizon. It is now 5:30, she waked up her bestfriends, Pariana and Peteriona and the three of them took a bath. The bathroom was just like the bathroom on their former dorm. However, it is much filled with pink and gold rather plain ivory.

The three lad gets dressed on their uniforms. Since they don't yet have a robe, they were wearing their usual black long sleeves with a red necktie fixed around the collar, and black skirt on level on their knees then white socks and black school shoes. They were ought to buy their robes this Saturday.

The three went down the spiral staircase and have proceeded in the living room. Patricia looked around and saw the first years, also wearing their uniforms without robes, except for Ellah. The Pixiestail wizards went out on their dorm and go down the golden staircase and went to the Easterian Hall.

"This is good." Peteriona voiced out her opinion to the two. "Why d'you reckon?" Pariana asked. "Breakfast is served ya know. We're not gonna cook for ourselves." Pete stated firmly. "Agree." Patricia muttered feeling sleepy, she regretted she didn't returned to her sleep when she was awake ahead of time.

The breakfast was served and the students help themselves with the fried dishes on their plates. After they have finished eating, they went to their dorms and got their bags  and went to their first period.

The first years didn't have classes in the morning since it's Thursday and their first period is on twelve; Potion with Mr. Jones.

Before the usual lunch time the first years have eaten their lunch early and proceeded in the Dungeon for Potions with Mr. Lupin. The time flied fast, and it's now Saturday, the day to visit the Greenlaine Alley.

"Do you still have a silver coin left?" Peteriona asked Pariana as she got her purse.

"No uhh, I guess we'll have to withdraw." Pariana answered her. Same thought for Patricia, she needed to withdraw since she only got a silver coin left, she was left with a fortune by her parents on the bank, this was given when she was with her grandfather.

"Hurry up or we'll miss the train!" It was only Felices who just made her way into the other room telling everyone to hurry up. The three go downstairs and met everyone wearing their jeans and sweaters. Felices beckoned everyone to go down the golden staircase. At last, the three lad with Ellah Tray talking with Pariana settled down on an empty compartment; all were carrying a small handbag.

It was a ten minutes drive till they reach Alandrea's Station. All went up from the underground tunnel and found themselves in the town of Alandrea.

"So this is goodbye ei! I'll see you soon." Ellah Tray bid goodbye to the three.

The Three went to Alandrea's Bankie Coin. A large monument of a golden coin stood on the center, engraved with 'A.B.C', have welcomed the wizards as they walk on the circular golden hall. The walls were ornamented with coins, only coins. Round windows are also there, like a coin.

"Mademoiselles, what can I do for the three of you?" A bespectacled woman on her Mid 30's appeared.

"We would like to withdraw some silver coins---"

"She meant golden coins." Pariana glared at Peteriona. Patricia also thought that they needed Golden Coins rather than silver. Who knows how much the robes will cost.

"Your name my dear?" the woman asked Pariana. "Pariana Ayesha Rose."  Pariana answered firmly.

"Ow a Rose, are you the daughter of Silvia and Arthur Rose?" The woman asked Pariana as she peered down on her glasses, staring at Pariana.

"That's Peteriona's Parents, mine were Lilia and Juhn." Pariana stated. "Ahh I see, both of you are cousins then?" The bespectacled woman asked. "Yeah." Peteriona answered.

"Ahh and you my dear?" referring to Patricia.

"She's a Hayes, Patricia Hayes." Peteriona answered for Pat

"Ahh I see, your parents were great in their times." She nodded with her statement and continued, "come, follow me."

The three followed her and each of them have withdraw 30 golden coins on their accounts. They soon leaved the A.B.C and entered an alley called the Greenlaine Alley.

There were plenty of shops all through the end of the alley. They saw Madame Jueivia's Boutique ahead of them.

"Peteriona looked Its uncle Jim!" Pariana exclaimed and her cousin's attention was focused on the man in the 'Dishes serve in Cold Resto'.

"Patricia C'mon let's chat with Jim the man." Peteriona said. Patricia though wants to go with them but she thought they were already spending their time with each other since then, she doesn't want to be a party popper in the Roses reunion. So then she answered, "No thanks, I would like to have a coffee first. You would visit your Uncle while I have my coffee." She firmly stated.

"All right, we'll see you in a bit." Peteriona and Pariana went to the restaurant and met their uncle Jim. Patricia wasn't lying though, she badly need a coffee. She was looking for a big sign of a coffee shop while walking along the alley, luckily she found 'Le Ezmiralda's Jams and Beverages'. The coffee shop was nearly crowded as she have entered. She seated on the stool and looked at the menu.

It says, 'Le Ezmiralda's Jams and Beverages'

She took a sip and was amazed since that was the best coffee she ever tasted. Before she could take another sip, a group of boys have appeared on the doorway. She spotted an empty chair there and settled in.
