"Our lesson for today is something great." The tall handsome man, looking in his 40's, having a golden cloak with his silver and black robes, Mr. Jones Lupin appeared in the doorway and headed to the centre.
"Now the question is, what is your idea of something great?" Mr. Jones asked them as he was now standing in the front.
Patricia reflected for a second.
What was her idea of something great? Patricia thought that there's nothing more greater than bringing the dead back to life. Bringing her parents back to life.
"Feeling great again, Ms. Rose." Mr. Jones called Pariana as she was putting her hands down.
"My idea of something great, Professor is a thing that could bring the dead alive again or rather a Potion since it is Potion we're discussing." Pariana then settled down when she finished answering.
"How about you Ms. Hayes?" Mr. Jones asked Patricia. Patricia wasn't even on her usual state of mind, she was still reflecting in the moment.
"Something great is something that could bring back the dead into life, yeah, I agree with Pariana on this. I mean what's greater than spending time with your---" Patricia paused as she have come back to her senses.
"Ow I mean, that's my answer sir." She finished it quickly and sated down. She felt glances being thrown towards her and so she turned to her side and saw Pariana and Peteriona with worried looks carved on their faces.
Patricia just smiled at them. And continued to pay attention to Mr. Jones.
"Ms. Ethereal, your idea?" Mr. Jones called Peteriona.
"My idea professor---err-- umm- a time machine?" she said feeling puzzled as she wasn't sure with her answer.
"I mean, sir, a Time potion yaw know. A Potion that could bring back the time." She quickly added in a cool manner. Feeling satisfied, Peteriona sated down and gave her two friends beside her a smirk, from Patricia's Point of View she was saying like she 'nailed it'.
The three lads attention were back into Mr. Jones when the Professor started writing on the board. But this time, their lesson was a bit intriguing to the lads which made them more attentive than they used to.
'Efilife Potion'. [Pronounce as E-li-fe or e-li-pe Potion without the 'f and I'] >written on the board.
"Can anyone tell me what does this potion do to its drinker or what is this potion? Anyone?--------- ah yes Ms. Castro. Any idea?" Mr. Jones called Lily Castro. The easily gets pissed girl stood up having this irritated look on her as she face Mr. Jones.
"You called me sir?" She asked in her impolite kind of manner.
"Ahh you weren't paying attention, 5 points from Wentriworth." Mr. Jones mumbled as he was aware that he was being taken rudely by one of 'Lila's goons'. Lily wasn't even sorry for her house and so she sated back to her seat beside Lila and Lina. The First years wentriworth wizard were staring at her but didn't even dare to speak since they have already lost 5 points from their house.
"The nerve." Patricia heard Pariana muttered under her breath. "Got lot of nerve but not lot of spine." Peteriona whispers.
Patricia heard this and chuckled.
Mr. Jones started calling out names again. Without hesitation, Pariana throw her hands up in the air and Mr. Jones called her.
"Yes Ms. Ayesha Rose, can you tell us what does this Potion does to its drinker?"
"Professor, this Elife potion could prevent death." Pariana said and paused.
"Oh cool" the whole class was talking with amazement for the Potion. Patricia on the other hand have hope that the Potion would 'bring back dead' and not to 'prevent being dead'. So much for her dismay, she resumed listening to Pariana.
"But-- there's a but-- the drinker could only drink the Potion thrice. The Potion won't bring back the dead, I tell you. So better to drank this Potion when you're in a near to death situation you know." Pariana ended up her answer and sated on her chair.
"Excellent Ayesha. 10 points to Pixiestail." Mr. Jones said with a smile.
"So as Ms. Rose have said this Potion could prevent death." Mr. Jones started.
"I thought wizards were Immortal?" a guy from wentriworth uttered, loud enough to be heard by the whole class.
Now that Patricia heard this, she remembered what Ms. Taylor have told her, 'Wizards don't get tired', and to add, there are beasts protecting each golden beasty wizards, thus, she thought wizards are immortal. But then why did her parents died, if they were immortal?
"Ahh Mr. Nathan, about that, some wizards are immortal and some are not." Mr. Jones answered the guy from wentriworth named Nathan. Patricia was taken aback by the thought, 'some wizards are immortal and some are not'.
"Sir." Peteriona raised her hand and with a permission from Mr. Jones, she stood up and began to speak.
"What does make a Wizard immortal, sir?" Pete asked
"Very good question Ms. Peteriona. But I do belive your history of magic Professor will discuss it to you soon." Mr. Jones said calmly and beckoned Pete to sit down.
Peteriona looked at Pariana and Patricia and asked why. Both of her friends just shrugged, and so Pariana whispered 'research'.
Patricia was sure that Pariana, too, was interested about the immortality thingy, since the three of them have faced the same fate; parents have died a heroic death, and children were abandon.
"The Potion can only be drink thrice. This potion will lasts until a year, and after then it will wear off. The Potion will serve as your inner shield. Though good if use correctly, If ever you drank the Potion for the fourth time in your life span and survive death, your next life will be cursed." Mr. Jones said firmly.
"Please sir." Pariana stood up and speak.
"I thought we're going to discuss the cure-for-Hiccup Potion, the second lesson for first years?" Pariana asked. Pariana's sudden question of this made sense to her two friends since they always see Pariana with the Potion book.
"Ms. Rose, I do believe you know the reason about the unexpected magic showdown?"
"Errr---- yes?-- Of course I do." Pariana cleared her statement.
"The same reason it is Ms. Rose." Mr. Jones answered her and she made an 'oh' sound and sated.
"Cool, we're given advance lessons." Peteriona whispered.
"Not cool. We should learn in step-by-step process you know, we just can't reached the seventh grade without learning stuffs we ought to learn in our first years." Pariana retaliated in a whisper manner also.
"I got your point Pat, but we can't use those 'stuffs' you called for first years in a serious situation, for example a war." Patricia butted in and Pariana went silent.
"Tomorrow we'll be making the Elite Potion. Goodbye." Mr. Jones leaved the room and the students scuffled on their feets and went out of the room.
Only Patricia, Peteriona, Pariana and fortunately, Lila and her goons were left. The three lads didn't heard the bell and so upon realizing what have happened, they grab their bags to their shoulders and stormed out of the room.
"Hey Trashes! Wait up." Patricia could hear the irking voice of Lila from behind. Pariana was annoyed and Peteriona was very irritated.
Still ignoring Lila and her goons they walked straight to the empty corridor, heading for their next class.
"Inspecto Bizzardo!" And Pariana was almost hit by the spell. Luckily, it missed.
Peteriona couldn't control her temper much longer and turned to the girls from behind them.
Pariana and Patricia did the same too.
"What do you want, huh?!" Pariana irritably asked.
"Well, well, well. That was for congratulations. " Lila said in her bitchy voice.
Both Patricia and Peteriona have cringed like that was the most awful voice they have heard in their entire life.
"Oh, should we say thank you? Um.. thanks." Peteriona stated while controlling her temper then she turn around and started walking again. Pariana and Patricia followed behind her as she have walked.
"Not so fast." Lila's voice was now loud.
Peteriona closed her eyes in annoyance and opened it again, same goes for Patricia and Pariana. They turned around and faced the lads to make this thing fast. Its Monday you know, who wants to be late?
"What now?" Peteriona impatiently asked.
But before Lila could answer, Lina casted Inspector Bizzardo and hit Pariana on her arm on purpose.
"Stop" Lila muttered but too late, Peteriona already grip at her wands and casted the same spell.
The hallways were now filled with golden sparks as the two rival teams casted spells unto each other. Pariana was furious, and so does Patricia. Peteriona wanted revenge for her cousin. And the opposing team were enjoying the chaos.
Later on, Professor Camilla approached the clashing students and demanded them to stop.
"Why were all of you battling here in the corridor when you should be in your classes? All of you, detentions this evening in my office, no buts!" Ms. Camilla was turning red out of anger and so she walked away. The lads followed her, still giving each other deathly glances. Pariana's arm was now in good condition since Patricia casted a healing charm on her.
The rest of the walks in the corridor was filled with silence and sending death glares.
